Reversed polarity in an eVic

Anybody knows if an eVic can be damaged by inserting the battery in reverse? Or does it have polarity protection?

I have this battery with a flat positive end, and I'm sure one of these days I won't be careful and I'll insert it wrong end first. If the eVic isn't protected, I'd rather know beforehand, as I'm not keen on trying it on purpose to find out.

They have what joyetech calls "battery inversion protection". In other words... "one of these days I won't be careful" proofing. ;-)
