A pack a day for about 15 years, then after i got laid off and was home all day, i started creeping up to one-and-a-half, sometimes almost two packs a day. Not OK! Started vaping about 10 days ago, smoked less and less each day until my last cig about 3 days ago. *whew* and the past few days I've felt like a 6 year old at an amusment park. :D just GIDDY with the excitement of NOT craving a cig when i wake up, when i open my eyes in the morning and remember that hey! i am NOT a smoker today!!! woot! just ridonkulously thrilled to NOT be grabbing for one every 15 minutes. :D

1 pack a day for 28 years. Why would anyone want to vape if he/she don't smoke??!!??

Maximum average of about 45 cigarettes a day, and that was for the past 30 years or so, for a total of 43 years. It was hard to switch from cigarettes to vaping, and I was desperate to quit at the time, but have now been off the stinkies for for a little over a year. I still find that something close to magic. I mean, I'm a nonsmoker, still makes me tingle to say that and my doctor is way stoked! Not as much as me though. :D

Welcome.

We had a poll in the UK on a forum. 100% of e-cig users on that forum were smokers before.

I'm not saying taking up nicotine from a position of being a non-smoker is wrong or right, but I'm hoping that world-wide, 99% of e-cig users are doing it to get off the cigs not on the nicotine.

I smoked for 24 years.

Today marks day 6 for me without an analog. I started using the Blu disposables, and then realized that I really liked doing that more than smoking. I did some research, and bought my first eGoT yesterday. I'm totally in LOVE.

I smoked for 7 years, off and on, but mostly on. About half of that time I spent as a secret smoker. I'm married, and I had to be like a ninja with covering up the smell. It makes me laugh to think of all the stupid things I did for a cigarette. I feel so FREE now!
