1 PAD for 16 years I think. Tried my first e cig last summer and was smoke free for almost 3 months then e cig broke and went back to analog. Just went back to vaping last February and still smoking analogs although not as much as before. I've smoked 2 analogs within the past week so I guess it's not that bad compared to a pack a day. Hopefully when I go on vacation next week I'll be able to kick it totally.

1 pack a day for 28 years. Why would anyone want to vape if he/she don't smoke??!!??

ahh sorry for any confusion, the begining of the title was "how many packs a day" the "did you smoke before switching ver to vaping" was supposed to be one sentence, i figured most people would catch that brb editing my post.

Today marks day 6 for me without an analog. I started using the Blu disposables, and then realized that I really liked doing that more than smoking. I did some research, and bought my first eGoT yesterday. I'm totally in LOVE.

I smoked for 7 years, off and on, but mostly on. About half of that time I spent as a secret smoker. I'm married, and I had to be like a ninja with covering up the smell. It makes me laugh to think of all the stupid things I did for a cigarette. I feel so FREE now!

my dad does the same thing, his wife doesnt know he smokes and he has been married for 6, 7 years? maybe more? but i dont understand one someone can hide smoking its rather obvious, the coughing, the smell, yellowing of the teeth and nails, you can tell when someone smokes. my mother is a smoker and when i visit i can tell when shes been smoking, something i never noticed before i started to vape.

1/2 to 1 PAD Camel filters:) It has been only 16 hours since my last one. So a newbie here:)

As long as you can keep it that way you should be good XD I have a friend who's a heavy smoker, and he just recently tried to make the switch into an eGo, but he's still not vaping as much as he should. He does vape, like when we hang out at my house, but I of course can tell when he's been hitting the stinkies again. Still, I'm encouraging him to vape more. I love it so much - vaping keeps my sanity in check when i'm terribly stressed out.

I guess I'm lucky that for me, it wasn't too bad- I'd maybe go through a pack a week, sometimes two depending on my stress levels. I was a secret smoker to my parents- but my mother has since found out since she saw all my vaping gear. I think she backed off a little when I showed her the FAQ page on the CASAA website but who knows - my father is out of town, returning tonight so we may discuss it then. I'm surprised I didn't smoke more- especially considering dysthymia has taken hold of me and some severe relapses into depression. At least vaping makes me happier :) I don't stink, it doesn't leave a trace, and it's so much fun to customize my setup! I painted the skin on my MVP yesterday to resemble Rarity from My Little Pony, lol. My bright blue drip tip inside my purple iClear 30S also makes me happy haha. Maybe I'll put some bling on the mvp too - gotta bedazzle that shizz :)

Maximum average of about 45 cigarettes a day, and that was for the past 30 years or so, for a total of 43 years. It was hard to switch from cigarettes to vaping, and I was desperate to quit at the time, but have now been off the stinkies for for a little over a year. I still find that something close to magic. I mean, I'm a nonsmoker, still makes me tingle to say that and my doctor is way stoked! Not as much as me though. :D

I feel your happiness. And saying "I don't smoke". What a feeling. What a freeing! 1.5 packs per day 47 years. This little device worked it's magic. Congrats to both of us. 91 days without an analog and I'm never going back! No more coughing. It is wonderful.

how many packs a day did you smoke before switchng over to vaping? also how long did you smoke?

i myself smoked....1 to 1.5 packs a day, maybe two i started when i was 18 switched to vaping a week ago right before my 21st birthday so i smoked for 3 years?

Keep going. You don't want to struggle like I did for 47 YEARS! I did a LOT of damage; COPD (chronic bronchitis and emphysema- terrible air robbing diseases), heart disease (some familial) and a rough looking face. Keep going - you can do it! Don't end up like me. Your a young man enjoy your LONG, healthy life. Good Luck and congrats
