I got my mom to at least try my ecig. She didn't like the taste though....I should have her try my amaretto flavor lol.
I was able to convert 4 coworkers 3 are exclusively vaping and 1 still smokes analogs as well

I got 3 co-workers, my best friend, father, and dads best friend. The co-workers are happy, but to me the family and close friends are what counted the most.
My dad had this problem, I got him fixed up with an eGo (3.4 volts vs the normal 3.7) and a SR boge carto (2.8 +/- .2 ohms). He's cut back from a carton a week to less than a carton a month now.
I'm hoping my husband will switch over. I gave my daughter, who just found out she is pregnant, a Joyetech 510 starter kit to try, but I don't think she is using it. Oddly enough, a few days after I started, one of my husband's co-workers gave him a pack of two disposables, which he brought home to give to me. We opened it up to try it, and I suggested that he keep it. I have seen him using it, instead of smoking, a few times since when our granddaughter has been back with him in "grandpa's living room" watching movies. So there's hope yet!
And ya wonder why big pharma/the FDA are fighting E cigarettes?
After I quit for a month I got the evangelism bug in a bad way. Bought a kit for every smoker on my Christmas list. When most of them quit too seeing the real potential these have to dramatically improve peoples lives.... I started a hobby business selling kits and juice through word of mouth advertising. Out of 30 kits sold, 15 customers have quit smoking altogether and most of the rest have greatly reduced their use of tobacco. Only two of 30 have stopped using the ecigarettes. You do not see success rates like these in any other cigarette addiction treatment that I am aware of. Ecigs are a miracle.
My two sisters, my husband, a co-worker and two strangers I handed out cards to from hoosierecigsupply.com and rawrvapor.com (not sure if they have converted, they just came up to me and asked what I was vaping) So 4 people and still spreading the joy!

I have converted 7 friends, my dad, and working on my wife. She vapes and has dropped her 1 1/2 pad down to 1/2pad but she has to be the toughest person I have tried to convert!! I also make sure every person I come across smoking sees my APV. By doing this they initiate the conversation and I don't come off like some door to door Jehovah wittnes LOL
Lol yes it's hard not to sound like a fundamentalist when you are so hyped about vaping lol

I've tried to convert several smokers. I let them hit my KGO and explained it to them in detail but none of them converted. They are dedicate to an expensive and horrible death. It's also funny to note that each one of them that hit the KGO coughed like first time smokers much to my lulz. It's not an easy thing to do. On ECF I have converted like a dozen people and steered them towards the SLB KGO starter kit on DarkCityVapor with my outspoken posts and my in-depth blog. We are all friends now too and correspond regularly.
If you don't want to read my blog but are wondering WHY KGO? The answer is this: It's the cheapest, most powerful (4.1 volts! compared to the 3.7v of an EGO - it can even outperform the popular IMR 18650 battery used in much more expensive PVs and mods) and most versatile (510 connector), and at 1100mah (and you get 2 of them) it lasts me 2-3 days before recharging even one of them. It's the best starter PV on the market at that price range; it's perfect for any beginner no matter how much you used to smoke. Even later on when they move up to a silver bullet, provari, lavatube, or 5v vv box mod it's still a handy thing to have around, or it makes a great hand-me-down. I quit the second I got mine. I love it.

I think I just converted my fourth person. A lady came to our house to buy our old truck and saw me vaping. She asked if it was a fake cig. I explained it and told her how long I smoked and how it worked for me. she said her daughter still smokes, so I gave her a batt and a carto and some cards from various vendors. So, 3 for sure, maybe a 4th.
Best converter ... an eGo Biansi dripper ... with a good flavor. Over 50 converted. Funny thing is how reluctant are heavy smokers to fruits, and they end up loving them.
