Not sure if this has been discussed or not (couldn't find a thread).

So how many people have you made believers out of? How many lives have you saved? ;)

I'm at 3 and 1 on the fence.

The thing I have heard from the people I've converted is that they had heard of it before but honestly thought it WOULD NOT work.

One thing I think is great about this community is the brotherhood we have. This is my experience; People think it will not work, so they are apprehensive to get involved with their money. The people I have converted have had their kits purchased by me, but in return ahev turned around and bought kits for the people that they have converted. I love that pay it forward aspect of this community.

So my conversion tree has more than three branches, but some of those are branches off of the main branches.

I told my step brother about vaping, just in conversation... he's a health nut, who participates in marathons... (yeah... don't you HATE the type???)

Anyways, he told his partner about vaping, and his partner has completely stopped analogs and now vaps!

The problem I've had is, I've been vapping for five, six months, but I also had continued to smoke. So, when I would tell people about vapping (not to convert them, simply talking about myself), the first thing out of their mouth is always "yeah... well, if it's so great, why are you still smoking!"...

Strange. They didn't see ANY benefit from the fact that I had cut down from a pack or pack and a half to smoking only 4-5 cigs a day... ALL they cared about was "well, guess it doesn't work because you STILL are smoking".

Again, I was NOT trying to sell ANYONE on the benefits of vapping... they'd see me vap, and ask me about it. Most of them don't even smoke.

I now have about 12 days completely analog free... so I guess I'll find out if more people give it a chance, who do smoke, now that I can honestly say I haven't had a cig in nearly two weeks.

Honestly, though, there simply aren't that many people in my circle of family and friends that smoke!

My mom and dad BOTH quit cold turkey, 30 years ago, but it was very hard for my mom. I remember her going to different types of smoking cessation programs, but I have to hand it to her, she finally quit and hasn't smoked in decades! (She HATES that I smoke... or used to!)

Somewhere in time.
2 completely, 2 partially, 17 total strangers that wanted to know where to get a better device (they all had pv's-most of them mall types and I sent some here, some to MV because they specifically asked where to get a Sidesho) and several people on the fence to see if I stick with it:) And I have yet to approach anyone-everyone in question has asked me about it. This is why I sit in a very visible place for my breaks:) Makes me feel good.

Excellent Post

I stopped counting at 15 - I heard stories from many of them indicating they shared the information with family and friends that smoked and many of those now vape.

Sharing with others is a focus of mine. I usually vape with the eGo in public so no one will mistake my PV for an analog. When I see someone smoking I pretend to ignore them and vape and create a few heavy clouds of vapor. In most cases they they ask if I am using one of those Electronic cigarettes they heard about?

As we all know the first question smokers asks...Does it really taste like smoke? And the 2nd is how long has it been since you stopped smoking cigarettes.

I always carry 5 or more new unused cartridges.

I then remove the cartridge, pop in a new one, and "direct drip" a few drops and say...Here try it out and tell me what you think.

The reactions are always the same...WOW

Then they ask for the model name and where can they get one.

The price of a blank cart and a couple drops of liquid...Can save a life. Actually, because they then share the information and probably repeat the demo with others...The price of blank cart and a couple of drops of liquid probably save many lives.

Excellent post. I will follow this thread in hopes that many will reply with their experiences.

One that I know of for sure. Three others that have taken the information I gave them, but I'm not around them enough to know if they started yet. Two that really want to but have the excuse that they don't think they can afford the initial kits...If only they realized how much they could save in the long run. But, I can't force anybody to make the right choice.
