How many times can you recharge AAA batteries

Recently I built the Puck. It works great. It lasts about as long as an Ego before I have to recharge my AAA batteries. It uses four AAA batteries and although convenient, they are not cheap. I use the Ever Ready 15 minute charger on them.

How many times can I keep recharging these batteries before they wont take a charge?

My recollection is around 300 give or take, but I could easily be wrong.

I have two versions of the puck, both use AA rather than AAA batts, just didn't think the AAA would last long enough to satisfy me. One version I built uses a prescription pill bottle as the project box, and the other uses the plastic box from the travel-type q-tips at Target for 99 cents. Both versions use Radio Shack batt holders, one has the four cells laying side by side, and the other is a cube-type holder, that just slides into the pill bottle. Both fit well in my hand and are easy to use. The one in the q-tip box has a recessed master on/off switch and LED, the pill bottle only has the vape switch.

I use the Ever Ready 15 minute charger on them.

That's a typical dumb charger, it just cooks the cells for 15 min.

You may have better longevity if you grab a slower charging smart charger.
