Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
My Dog started getting on me to start vaping , she is not easy to live with and when ...... could be extremely dangerous (big teeth) .

It got to a point where i was terrified to come home from work , i knew serious injury and even death was a possibility so i started carrying a firearm .

If i had to describe our relationship it was exactly like Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau coming home and having to deal with Kato , you know Clouseau's live in housemate who's job it is to try and kill him to make sure Clouseau stays sharp lol.

A Pekingese named "Pugsly" , don't let it's small size fool you , very very dangerous.

I never do! I have a Miniature Pinscher and a American Staff Terrier, the MinPin is the only one who has ever drawn blood from me. He's a angry little s.o.b.:lol:

Lol, great stories! I love reading this thread.

I've been vaping for almost 7 years now (smoked for 10 years prior), but when I met my wife 3 years ago, she was a smoker (also 10 years). I tried to give her the ol' sales pitch about vaping, but she wasn't having it. Once she moved in with me, I laid down the "no smoking in my car or the house" rule. We live in Michigan, so she didn't particularly like smoking outside in the winter. :)

She would come with me to the local vape shop and sit in the car while I stocked up on supplies, but one day, she decided to come in. She bought a crappy starter kit and hated it. It made her cough uncontrollably, but I'm so proud of her because she kept at it for 2 days of coughing and "figured it out". She completely quit smoking. We're a smoke-free household.

My wife is a tootle puffer still using an old Pro Tank 3, whereas I have embraced the hobby approach and try a lot of vaping setups. I tell her she's wasting money on coil heads, but she won't be bothered with building coils. lol

My daughter, her boyfriend, and I all vape. My daughter and I quit smoking cold turkey around 10 years ago, and started vaping around 4 years ago when cravings and stress were making smoking seem more and more desirable. Once we started vaping, the desire to smoke again went away for good. I am not sure when the boyfriend quit smoking, but since he has been with my daughter and started vaping as far as I know he has quit bumming cigarettes from friends just to be sociable, and since I got him the Kanger Subox Mini kit for Christmas he has been really enjoying his vape.

My fiance and I both quit March 8, 2013 (3 year vaperversary coming up in a few weeks :headbang:). I am the one who has to do everything though. I order the stuff, clean the stuff, refill tanks, change coils and I charge the MVP's before bed... I can't complain because I got him to quit the stinks for his health. He was only 25 and had extremely high BP and acid reflux. Since he started vaping and drinking herbal tea, he's been much better!!! No high BP and reflux.

Still haven't found a setup my wife likes, so she still smokes. She wants something the size and shape of a cig, low powered, easy to fill, and no PG. And the battery has to last all day on a charge. I'm not really trying anymore, if she wants to try again she'll tell me.
walked into a smoke shop to buy her cigs the other day and the guy behind the counter tried to convince me I should try vaping.

I started a few months before my wife but now i got her off the analogs after getting her subox and running through a number of flavors.
Now i got my mother and sister on the bandwagon....if i could only get my daughter now!
I've been trying for almost a year to get my oldest son to quit smoking. He called me last week, he finally got a setup he likes :) no cigs this week so far.
