Converted my first smoker to vaping!!

A friend of mine who was my "smoke buddy" whenever we went out anywhere converted to vaping. We were both supposed to quit smoking on Jan 1, but we both did not live up to our pledge. I have been smoke free for almost 2 weeks, and I enjoy vaping. I started explaining to my friend how easy it was to quit if you pick up vaping. I told her how much I like my KangerTech EVOD and how nice the vape shop here in town was. She went in today and picked up her own starter kit. She let me know she likes it a lot and hasn't had a cigarette since 2pm! I am so psyched to have not only helped my friend find a way to kick the cigarette addiction, but also become a fan of vaping. I let her know how awesome this site is, so hopefully she will be on here as well.

It does! It's like I was privy to this amazing thing, and I have to share it with others. To help her quit smoking, which I know we both seriously wanted to do, is just an amazing feeling.

You're so right! I am really enjoying my vaping, and glad I could share it with a friend and get her to quit smoking.

There aren't many ways an individual can assist in extending/saving another person's life; ergo, the patience and passion within these forums. V-verting a smoker or aiding a vaper is pri¢ele$$!

Good for you, and what fun to have a buddy! I haven't had any success with friends, but my adult granddaughter saw on Facebook that I was vaping and called me up, very excited. She thought it was so cool that her grandma was a vaper. She said she had been thinking about it for a while. I ordered her an Evod starter kit for her birthday and she came over when it arrived, and we had Vaping 101. She left with her kit and big smile on her face. She has been successful ever since. Makes me feel very good that I helped someone young avoid all those years of smoking that I did.

That's great to hear! I just feel so blessed to have found something I enjoy so much and to have it replace something so harmful is amazing! It made me want to share my good fortune with everyone I know who smokes. It's true, you can't convert someone who doesn't want to quit the cigarette curse. I just try to guide those I know who are smokers and want to quit. They feel like I once did. You have a sense of being imprisoned by stinking harmful cigarettes. Vaping is like your "Get Out Of Jail Free" card.
My friend is one full day off cigarettes and on vaping. I'm very happy for her and hopeful she continues.

Kudos! I have converted 4 at work, my mom, and got 2 who occasionally vaped but didn't learn enough about it to go analog free until I educated them on their issues and pushed them through. Peer pressure on this is a good thing! I have another 20 or so we are working on pressuring them that are outside my "friendship" influence so we will see .

it truly is a great feeling. i've converted my wife and father. bought my mother and step dad MVP IIs and ibtanked tanks. they're in the midst. have a guy in my cdl class that tried with cigalikes very curious and wants to do it right. he tried out my gear last week and asked me to set him up. i sent him an email last night outlining full setups from provape and innokin. should find out what and if he ordered some time monday. he seemed like he liked the idea of dropping 3 or 4 hundred to get started and coasting, trying out juice when i last talked to him. he was leaning towards provari.

i'm stoked to see if he decided to go with it as he really seemed to like mine.

Way to go! I have yet to get anyone to get onto vaping. A friend awhile ago tried mine but has never ended up getting onto it.
