I started just on a whim 3 1/2 years ago (40 year smoker). My first kit arrived on a Friday, the day after my 37th wedding anniversary. After watching me for a weekend, my wife said "Ooh, I want one, I want one." Ordered her kit on Monday. We've been a vaping team ever since.

I've been trying for almost a year to get my oldest son to quit smoking. He called me last week, he finally got a setup he likes no cigs this week so far.

I think it's a combo of being ready and having someone with the right knowledge to get you on the right gear to start. Good for him!

Been vaping myself for about 3 years, on and off. Got more powerful sets and my fiancee has used ego batteries, now she wants the Reuleaux RX200 and a dripper Gonna order it for her next month when I get more money to get gear

Yeah, my hoarding has got a rational base to it though, the ......n EU regulation bull.... especially here in Finland. All drippers illegal, all flavorings illegal, mail ordering illegal, All tanks over 2ml illegal, max 20mg nicotine, max 10ml bottle size and so forth.

My husband and I started vaping the little 510s back in 1999. It started as a way for my husband to be able to " smoke" at work,but it appealed to me too, as we were expecting our first grandchild and I had tried many ways to quit, all unsuccessful. A few months later we were smoke free and much richer, LOL! And we are up to 3 grandchildren now. I have my dad, my sister in law, my son, and a few more vaping and smoke free, too!
