Specifically Boge 2.0 ohm? I've heard you shouldn't go over 4 volts. Is this true?
Not wishing to hijack the OP's thread, but... I just bought a VV MEL box and due to the advice of the person in the video showing it off, I selected a pack of 2.0 Ohm cartomizers with it instead of 3.0 Ohm. I'm stepping up from an eGo with LR cartomizers, so I have no 3.0 Ohm carts laying around. Sounds like from the advice in this thread that I need to go order some 3.0 Ohm cartomizers pronto so I'm not limited to about 4.2V. Am I interpreting the advice here correctly? I think my device will arrive in a day or two at most so if that's the case, I best be ordering pretty quickly.![]()

Your carto might be dead.
At 5v, you were vaping at 12+ watts.
A good adage to remember:
The candle that shines twice as bright lasts half as long.
He's using a LavaTube, the over current protection would kick in at 5v will LR so he was most likely vaping at 3.5v or lower. That's a confusion point with the LavaTube for many it lets you vape when it's adjusted out of spec it just reduces the voltage back down and many don't realize it, they just noticed all the sudden it's a weaker vape.
