madvapes sells two different LR atomizers, one by Bauway and the other by SLB. To which are you referring? (Inquiring minds want to know!!)

That's MY question.:p
You said you liked MV's the best. Which one(s) are you speaking of?
Or perhaps we have a miscommunication.
Can't find the post where the person said of all tried, like these the best.

Just ordered 2 LR Atties to use with my new Ego.

The question is..... is it better and does it produce more vapor?

:)

All will produce better vapor. The 1.5Ω mega attys can destroy flavor with certain flavors. The 1.7-1.8 eGo-ts are better on flavor and better on vapor than the regular ohm'd ones and close to the 1.5Ω LRs. And the B style seem better than the A style in the tank system.

Lol. No I was just going down the general forum seeing if there was anything I could add - I haven't been caught by that recently. Although there are some on the new member forum that like to bring up old threads for their first post. lol Thanks for the heads up Lev.

how are those tank atties? im worried i wont get a big enough HIT. Unless its almost choking me out and contains hurricane clouds of vapor im not satisfied.

Hey kodyk! I'm liking them a lot. I think it's the leading edge but there are varying opinions out there of course. Some people are having leaking problems but there are reasons for it and fixes. I haven't had that problem and the vapor for me is as good as anything on the eGo. I'm talking the B type atty/tanks, which the consensus seems to be to use the B over the A types. I also have the B LR attys and a bit more vapor but as with any LR you have to have a flavor that will hold up to the extra wattage. My DV habana reserve and real tabs holds up well and for the others I'm using the regular B type tank attys. If you have an eGo, it's worth a shot to try out at least a B type atty and tank. For me, it's the next best thing for vapor and flavor than dripping - although the biggest vapor is still the cisco 306lr atty...

One thing I noted. A normal atomizer you have to hold the button maybe 5-6 second to get a good puff, a LR atomizer maybe 3-4 second..and the puff is equal. a 5-6 second puff and you get a good strong puff! Thats the main difference I see, both perform and taste on par. I prefer the LR myself, and with a 1100 mAH battery it holds good. if you use a LR on a normal 510 180 mAH it will kill the battery in 15 minutes of heavy vaping and is annoying.

Kent I read your post. Hate to be critical, but I had a hard time understanding it and I really would like to understand it better. Particulary how to get good vapor when vaping Doppio Espresso in the eGo-T.

TIA,
Dave

Dave, could you be more specific on what part was hard to understand. I didn't mention vaping D. Espresso in the eGo-t, so not sure what your talking about. I vape D. Espresso on a Big Brother variable.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I've been very busy. You had a lot of useful info in the post. I guess I've been so out of touch with ecigs that I don't understand much about any of the newer ones. So I'll just be specific about my questions.

1) Due to past experience, I want to stay with the eGo-T and standard battery for now. And I especially like the look of it with black tank carts. I'm actually buying the Tornado LR atties from TW in the same shipment as the D. Espresso. I get dry vapes that are not consistent, regardless of the amount of juice in the tank. I read there are ways to manipulate the coil of the atty to make it work better and I'd like to learn the procedure in detail so I can try it. I stumbled on a juice mix to thin out the D.Espresso. About 50/50 with Tennesee No.7 (36mg at Nicotine Nirvana). I think I'll be continuing to vape this mix in the eGo-T.

2) What the hell is "Big Brother variable?"

TIA,
Dave

Right now that's my best combination for most flavors.

The LR's should be good with the DV D.Espr.. Highly suggest trying Backwoods Brew Espresso and Cappuccino for blending - those are 75:25 PG:VG and great coffee flavors

2) What the hell is "Big Brother variable?"

Big Brother is a variable voltage mod made by Ken at boxmods.com. There is a dial to where you can adjust the voltage from 0 (which is how you can turn the mod off for transport) to @7 Volts. It's a 2AA box with 2 14500 batteries in it. How long they last is determined by how much voltage you're using. The point of it being that you can have any ohm'd atomizer and adjust the voltage to get the desired wattage. For me - I have a 4.2Ω joye HV atty (that's a misnomer - High Voltage - should be high ohmage :) and crank the volts to above 6 so I'm vaping the coffee blend at around 10Watts.

Big Brother V1
