How much do you spend on e-stuff per month?

As per thread title.

I'm only at it a week, and haven't tried liquid yet (still on carts), but I estimate that to feed my 30 cigarette a day habit, I'm going to budget for:

> 1 new battery p/m
> 1 new atomiser p/m
> 60 carts p/m

I don't think I'll need a new battery and atomiser every month, but I'm budgeting that way just to be on the conservative side. I'm also budgeting for 60 carts, which again will probably cost less than the cost of 60 actual carts once I get liquid to augment/replace them.

In total, I think that'll come to around €50 - €70/$40 - $60 per month. Less than 1/5 the cost of my (formerly) beloved fags.

Of course, if you want to splash on different ecig models and liquid flavours it could be a fair bit more. I suspect some of you lot are like that...

I buy 3 atomisers every 2 weeks, I don't burn through them that quick so I have plenty of spares should I need them :) Each penstyle atomiser (RN4072 so I am told mine are) lasts me from a week to 3 weeks, my 901(RN4075) atomiser lasts me from 1 week to 2 months

So including juice it costs me about £40 - £60 every 2 weeks since I use a Kensington USB battery I don't need to buy them, the passthroughs don't last forever tho and I just replaced the penstyle one :(

I think your numbers are a bit conservative. Once you get this bug totally in your blood and I am not saying it isn't yet, however, all it will take is one day, when your one battery and your one atomizer, GO or even the whole ecig drops dead, or you lose one, or or or

It might be best, to save as much as you can, wherever you can and build some inventory. Then you might be able to sleep at night, When I first started I was not aware of some of the downfalls and issues that can arise and all of a sudden you realize you do not have enough in stock and now you are waiting waiting, I call it AREOBIC WAITING FOR THE MAIL

GOOD LUCK

I'm in about $600 since starting in Jan. I have all the hardware I need. For 901 I have 5 atomizers, 3 batteries, 60 filled carts and a USB passthrough. For 801 I have 2 atomizers, 2 batteries, 50 empty carts and a USB passthrough. Plus I have a ScrewDriver. I have enough juice to last about 6 months.
So I think after that juice is gone I can get away with $30 a month. I havn't had any parts failures so I'm not considering any expense for that until I need to.

Why do you all need so many atomizers and passthroughs? I have 5 atomizers for my 901 and that's plenty since I only use 2. One on the SD and one on a USB. I have one USB for the 901 and one for an 801 and they both are a couple months old with no problems. I've never had an atomizer burn out or even slow down. I don't do any maintenance at all either. Are you guys really burning through them so fast that you need so many of them? I don't get it.

+1

I was planning on a spare atomizer (or 2), 5 or 6 batteries and liquid/carts, so I'm kinda surprised so many of you guys have so many items. Also, one great thing about e-smoking to me is the amount of money it is saving me - so to blow it on spending almost as much on e-cigs seems odd to me.

I tend to go in waves of spending, some months I can only spend about £40-50 on an atomizer and juice and other months I go mad and stock up on everything like the world is about to end. On top of this I go and buy rubbish to engineer new stuff like; torches, cables, soldering tips, electric tape and batteries.

I like to think I get something for my money though; at least you can have a box of dead batteries and atomizers to mess around with rather than an ash tray full of ... ends.

Having a couple atomizers and batteries on hand as spares is always a good idea. Even if they don't completely go out, you're going to want to replace them as their performance degrades.

You should really try some liquid out. I tend to go thru a cart about once a week, only because either the stuffing gets worn down or because I chewed it and it's starting to look gross.

Nope, not burning through them at all. Just scared of a ban so I stocked up. I figure worst case scenario, which I don't even see, is that you would use 2 a month, which I don't, so I have enough to last almost 3 years lol. I know that if a ban happened and we COULDN'T get anything, with attys and a mod and even PG/VG with menthol crystals, and chew nic gum if I have to, I will stay off the analogs, but if I don't have attys, I can't vape now can I?
