I started off with a provari mini!!!! I love it but have yet to find a good tank that works great. I cant seem to find one that gives the amount of vapor i like?
Yes. I can vape my Spinner or Twist at 4 volts and then vape my APV at 4 volts and I definitely notice the diff. Use my APV at home and my Spinner while out and about and usually have to turn it up to 4.4 volts to be satiated. And once I start cranking the Spinner/ Twist above 3.7 volts it really drains the batt fast and the quality/ longevity of the vape is compromised.
When I was initially getting off the analogs, the frustration of carrying multiple batteries and worry about them dying was killing me. The MVP solved that.
A Provari is a tube mod that CONTAINS a battery (Unlike an ego that is a self contained battery),,,,,,,,,,which battery you put inside it is pretty much up to you,,,,,,
a good quality battery will make any mod perform to its best.
Very informative. So this basically dooms my wallet. I know I'm gonna want better lol. Hopefully I come across another awesome 50% off entire store deal.
But I'm sure there are batteries that perform just as well as a Provari, but much cheaper. For example, I've heard nothing but good things about the eGo Twist models and its copies.
this is where there is much misconception. the problem in real world is there isnt a thing as "all things being equal"
the provari uses proprietary circuitry that regulates and adjusts the voltage on the fly to maintain the exact voltage that you set within 1%. no ego can ever hope to do this. Its not so much a status symbol as it is knowing much of the provari is built to military design rules and precision isnt cheap.
they all work, but never believe they all work the same.
I agree with Thrasher, and can get even a little bit more technical also. Most mods made in China are built using cheaper parts and cheaper lower quality electronics to be able to offer them less expensively. Their philosophy appears to be, "We build cheap. You buy cheap. It break, you buy another."
All the Chinese mods use a buck boost processor that fires at 33.3 Hz and use lower quality filters. This can result in uneven electrical pulse waves to the atomizer, especially at higher voltages. The Provari uses a highest quality, military spec processor that fires a much smoother 800 Hx pulse wave and with much higher quality filters. This results in a smoother, more satisfying vape. The Provari's processor continuously monitors the battery for dropping voltage during use, and compensates for any voltage drop by adjusting the power to the voltage setting that the user set, within 1% accuracy. This is the patented Accuset Technoloy only the Provari has. You get the exact same quality vape from the beginning of a battery until it needs replaced. Few regulated mods are as accurate in accomplishing this.
Can everyone experience the difference in vape? No, not everyone can, and for those people a less quality mod will suffice. For many Provari owners they can tell the difference after using it for some time and comparing it with their other mods. Many can tell the difference from the first time using a Provari.
Provari owners generally do not buy one for fancy features or bells & whistles like many Chinese mods currently have. Adding features that have little effect on the vape quality is not in the best interest of making a better mod. Provari owners have one because it is the most predicably dependable, consistant, reliable, durable, and ultimately repairable mod they'll ever own. They have piece of mind that should their Provari ever require repair, the manufacturer will do so for as long as they own it. No Chinese manufacturer can or ever will offer that.
I'm not really bashing Chinese manufacturers. Well, maybe I am. But its a fact of life and the way it is. We as vapors do have choices to spend our hard-earned money the way we wish. I chose to invest in a device that will last me several years of use.
Yes, the ProVari hits harder IMO, even with everything else being equal. I can't explain the technicalities about why this is, but I have experienced it for myself.
