OK.. Day 2 with Totally Wicked Titan 510 T
I burned through 2 prefilled tanks and did a refill of one last night. One was 8mg, the second cart and the refill were at 12mg. Plus I finished my last pack of Analog. I wasn't going to but I set my Titan down in the pick-up, drove off to brave Holiday Shopping AND Rush Hour, reach over for the Titan and it's gone. I panicked, I'm digging and searching as much as possible, can't find it, OH NO, so I broke into the Analogs, chain smoked 6-7 during that panic attack..lol. My daughter says " what are you freaking out about?" I told her, she opens the back door and says "This?"... yeah. so I need a pack, or a case or something I guess. Anyway, The prefilled I slapped in this AM is 18mg. Looks like I've sucked about half the juice out of it already.

I know it varies from person to person and set up to set up, but is this normal? I'm guessing somewhere between 2-3 ml in a little less than 24 hrs.

Did you burst out vaping like crazy and then slow down the rate a bit over time? I've not noticed bad cravings except for the one when I rolled out of bed but the 18mg killed it pretty quick.

I'm rambling but I'm Analog free so far and actually enjoying this new system.

Worry not! Vape as much as you need to! From the sounds of it, you were a pretty heavy smoker so it's expected that you will be a heavy vaper(er) as well. Most folks tend to vape constantly at the start in order to avoid any nic cravings since nicotine delivery is a bit delayed with the ecig as compared to an analog. Over time, your body will adjust and you will most likely decrease your frequency as you notice the 'panic mode' subsiding.

Hang in there! Vape on!

For me, vaping is pretty much the same as smoking when it comes to "how much". On stressful days, it's more. On days that are boring and drag out, it's more. On regular days, it's less. I've gone through as little as 2 ml in a day, and as much as 10ml. I switched down to 18mg juice from 24mg, because I was getting a nicotine overdose some days - ringing in the ears, slightly dizzy feeling, stomach cramps, and headache.

Heyas Mrtrucker40108,

I completely agree with cactusgirl and leftfeild. Vape as much as you want. Just drink lots of water to stay hydrated. And watch for symptoms of nicotine overdose. Like lightheadedness, dizziness, headaches, etc.

And, I didn't kick myself about the analogs I smoked after I started vaping.

To tell you the truth, I didn't even start vaping with the intention of quitting analogs. I just wanted a bit of nicotine replacement to get me past the nic cravings when I got a cold. I get bronchitis REALLY bad for about 2 months after every cold, if I smoke while I have the cold. And of course, I always smoke, so...

I'd heard of e-cigs, and decided to give them a try when I got a cold. Went through all the noob phases and purchases you see around here.

Discovered that I REALLY liked vaping. Over the course of 5 or 6 weeks, I just kept smoking less and less because I was getting my nic from vaping, and the analogs really started tasting godsawful. It got to the point where I was only smoking one cigarette a day, first thing in the morning on my drive to work. And my mouth would taste horrible for hours after, so I just stopped even smoking that one, and didn't miss it. Cravings were actually less than the desire to avoid that awful taste.

So my advice is, vape all you want. Try different gear and flavors. Find your sweet spot(s). Drink lots of water. Watch for signs of nicotine overdose. Order spares of EVERYTHING and keep them around.

And most of all, enjoy yourself, have fun, and don't sweat it when you smoke an analog. Strive for progress, not perfection.

Just my :2c:

Makes sense.

I was/am a very heavy tobacco user. 2-3 pack a day on a normal day, plus a pipe or two, the occasional Snus, etc.

As far as kit goes, I'm already eyeballing either an eGo or a box mod. Not out of concern for vape levels or batt life, I just figure if it's bigger I'm going to have an easier time finding it when I lose it. lol.. not if, when..lol

Oh yeah, and I just bought 30ml peppermint, 30ml caramel, and 30ml rasberry from TVR. My OCD Hording has began.

I don't know about the specific brand you are using, but when I tried pre-filleds they only had enough in them to equal one analog or so. I don't think there is anything to worry about there. I also found pre-fills don't refill well.

Most people vape about 3mls a day average. When first quitting analogs you may vape more, then find you are not vaping as much later. If you are worried you can cut back the nic level to next lower one and see how it goes from there.
