well first thing first READ. got that? Then a calculator like POTV e-juice app or any of the other calcs posted here. I just like the format of the POTV app. I use 100 mil nic, reduced to 3ml. and mix mostly 55/45 PG-VG and somewhere in the 25% range for flavors. The flavors kinda very from recipe to recipe. I use a magnetic stir plate and glass beakers. I generally and the nic and flavors first then the PG-VG. for Me this keeps any initial clouding of the juice down. YMMY

Well I guess that depends on YOU, Honestly I had no idea how to do DIY or where to get the "goods" , but this site has all the info you need to get started and making fantastic juice for a fraction of the cost of B&M juice. Don't get Me wrong I still support the local store cause It is kinda nice to see and hang with folks that have the same interest as I. For example I just oicked up a TFV4 at the local B&M paid a couple bucks over what I could get online but I try to support the store a bit. The DIY thing is because I cannot find a juice that satisfies like MINE. A little bias but you will see if you put the work in and read.
Yeah, I need to search the threads here again.....so many different opinions on the best brands/suppliers though. I don't frequent the B&Ms near me because of the age of the staff and customers. Not real comfortable in them, I feel like Grandma at a rave! I'll just make small orders to begin with and experiment. Thanks USACelt!

Don't make DIY into a huge project. I see people get so overwhelmed with that.

You can start out making ONE FLAVOR ejuices. I was making pecan pie (with pecan pie flavoring) and that was all I vaped for months. Or I would just do "strawberry" and that was one flavoring (capella sweet strawberry I think). You don't even have to buy 100mg nic solution to save $$, I was buying 36mg and cutting it, and felt very safe (no special equipment needed). To make my one flavor ejuice, i got to point I didn't even have to measure. Just put in a few drops into 30ml of my nic solution and shake it up.

Then I moved to 2 flavors maybe a fruit + a cream or 2 fruits, like some banana and some strawberry. OR, a fruit flavor + some koolada to give it a little "breezy" taste. So easy!

Now you want to get into "layered" more complex stuff, and tobacco vapes, and multi part desserts......yeah, you experimetn with "recipes". Several flavorings, lots of measuring and steeping, patience, waiting..... (make them with plain vg/pg, not nic until you get it right so as not to waste $$).

But you can still buy some vendor juice you enjoy and vape your "one flavor" creations most of the day. Just getting to know how each flavoring tastes, that is a learning process that I think making ONE FLAVOR ejuices did for me.

I vaped one flavoring.....oba oba with nic solution for a few months. It was nice.

If I might add,
Start with one supplier for flavors, get your sea legs about you. some of the vendors have different concentration levels( or strengths). while this is a problem easily overcome.
Build a basic recipe then look about to find the vendor that fills your needs. I use TFA.

Old School vapor here as well.. I do about 3 to 4 mils a day.. most are 3 mg nic with 80VG20PG mix. I have three tanks... my favorite is the Arctic with a .5 coil.. followed up with my iSubG with a .5 coil and just now trying a Uwell Crown with the.25 coil... still havent found a sweet spot on the Uwell yet. I also drip my Mini Mad Hatter with a 22 Ga 6 wrap .4 ohm single coil with some quazi tobacco blend with my morning cup of coffee and just had a few drops of Absinthe in my SAPOR rda with two 26 ga 6 wrap coils that come in at .4 ohm. WOOTS
All good stuff... any suggestions on a sweet spot on this Uwell Crown.. I am all ears.
