How much Juice to add

I have a Blu and a 510
I hear of people flooding thier atty. how many drops on average should be added to prevent flooding? anyone know how many puffs per drop (average)

Should be getting my Double Chocolate/Peanut butter today. can not wait to taste.

The number of drops added to the filler of the cart is dependent on the type of filler used.

If you are dripping no more than 3 drops of liquid.

I agree with larktdl. It also depends on the juice also, some are thicker (vg) and some are thinner (pg)

Please clarify if you're asking about dripping or refilling carts. When dripping, also makes a difference if you have manual or auto batteries. Most autos have an open battery (hole in the top) that can allow liquid in and short the auto switch. Manuals can take more drops.

Number of puffs per drop is hard to quantify, too many variables, e.g., how long and hard do you pull, type of juice, etc., etc. 3 drops in my 510 w/ 100% VG gives me about an analog's worth with my style of vaping.

If you're asking about refilling, again too many variables, e.g., how dry your filler is, type of filler material, etc., etc. It all depends.

thanks, ordered 80 pg and 20 vg, more into TH than vapor. using the orig carts that came with unit. waiting to see how it changes things from the prefilled carts, which in my opinion SUCK lol. will still use orig carts of blu when playing poker and other places they dont allow vaping due to confusing other patrons with smoking, blu produces very little vapor so i can suck in, get TH and either hold vapor in till gone or breathe into shoulder. use 510 at home and driving where i get more vapor and can take more drags like a real cig.. have a bunch of carts to play with larks idea and do some experiments. still new and all the info and opinions out there and in here are somewhat over whelming and some contradicting. guess it goes to the old saying, "if you want it right, do it ya damn self". lol.

Still can't believe there isn't more advertising done by legit companies, a hell of alot of smokers have yet to hear of vaping. might need to check out being a dealer and hit fairs, trade shows, swap meets ect...

Good thing you mentioned about the auto batts, no dripping with these types of batts. Glad to see that someone is on the ball! TGIF.

why can't u drip with the auto batts. 510 is button but blu is auto. but with same set up with filler why can't u drip into empty cart? I thought i read others doing it.

will still prob try since i have two in case i ruin one .

He was talking about dripping, which is different than using cartridges.

But whether you're dripping or using cartridges, you don't want to flood the atomizer if you have automatic batteries because getting juice into the battery could ruin it.

It is generally considered easier to flood an atomizer when you're dripping than it is when you are using cartridges, but it can be pretty easy to flood an atomizer with cartridges too if the filler material you're using isn't holding onto the juice well enough.

Dripping or flooding your atty can allow juice to get into the top battery hole on an automatic battery. If that happens you generally have to buy a new battery. Manuals don't have the hole in the top.

Putting drops into an emptied cartridge is called refilling.
Putting a couple of drops on top of a cartridge that is not empty is called topping off.
