Hi all, a minor question here. I have 3 bottles of regular 24mg strength carolina tobacco and while I'm waiting for the new kit for my son that I bought with menthol cartridges, I had purchased some menthol drops (no nic) so that I could add some to one of the bottles of regular tobacco for him for the meantime. The menthol drops came today. How many drops (or ml) would you suggest adding to how many ml of regular so that it has a good menthol taste, but isn't too much? (I have a syringe so I can measure). I'd like to end up with about 8 to 10 ml of juice that isn't much less than 18mg strength if possible (more is okay, but not less than 18 mg).

Any suggestions?

Hi,
Personally, I mix my own with menthol crystals but the concentration you have is almost identical to what I make. That being said I use the concentrated menthol at 3.5% - 4% In the mixes I make. So say you use 10% tobacco flavoring, just make the total flavoring 13.5% and add the 3.5% of menthol to the total mix. So for 10ml of juice it would be 1ml of tobacco flavoring and .35ml of menthol.

So for a 10ml bottle it would be:

7.5ml of 24mg juice
1.15ml of PG
1.35ml of flavoring

Depending on your dropper, you can use drops for the .35ml of menthol. Here is the beakdown from 20 - 33 drops per ml for .35ml:

20 = 7
22 = 8
25 = 9
28 = 10
30 = 11
33 = 12

Now again it depends on how many drops per ml your dropper dispenses. I would start with 7 and add to flavor.

Thanks everyone. It took a little juggling to get it exactly the way my son likes it, but it wasn't too bad. I like playing mad scientist anyway, so it was actually fun. I think once I settle in to this and have myself situated with equipment and all, I'm really going to like DIYing.
