If she did full flavor, do 24. BUT, vapor hits differently than smoke, so expect mixed reactions both in beginning, and within a month of quitting cigs. Also be aware, nic levels CAN be all over the board. I was unltra light smoker, but required 24 mg to get off cigs, and I know ppl that did full flavor that do 12 mg in e cigs. But to start, Id suggest 24 mg dekang menthol.

It's going to vary from one person to another. I smoked 2-1/2 pad ultra lights. Got 24mg & 18mg to start. 24 was too much right off the bat. 18 was good, but it wasn't long and the 18 was too much. It wouldn't hurt to have at least 3 different levels for her to work with. She could adjust/dilute the mgs as she needs to. Some vapers who smoked heavy have found they needed far less mgs nic than I would ever imagine. Good luck!

I agree, I was a Winston Light smoker and did anywhere from 8 to 12 mg. Then I tried 24mg and loved the throat hit and took less of so drag. It also depends I believe on what maker you use. I did the 10mg EcoPure and I am in love with it. Now I want to start mixing my own until I find the two or three flavors and mg is just right. Hell I also truly believe I could go down to 0 mg and still want to vape. I just love the action of smoking. Been doing it so long, it just feels part of me.

I was 1.5 PAD lights and ultralights smoker and I started and stayed with 18mg, vaping about as much as I smoked. That is equal to about 1 pack's worth of nicotine in the cheap lights I was smoking this past year (they each has .9 for 18mg per pack). I also bought small bottles of 12mg and 24mg just in case 18mg wasn't right but 18mg was right for me.

Some people do need to temporarily go to a higher nicotine to stay off cigarettes when they start vaping. I didn't need to do that.

how can i tell if 24 mg is too much for me,
or 18mg is too low. ive been vapeing for 5 mths. now. im vapeing alot, do i need to go higher?

You'll get an awful buzz going, dizzy, headache, etc. Not a good feeling at all. If I'm doing too low, I start getting that edgy desperate need for a smoke. I've been amazed at how quickly I've needed to reduce the mgs of nic. Doing quite nicely at 6-9 mgs now. Will be happy when I hit that 0mg mark.

Another of the big variables is - HOW did you smoke that analog? Light it and let half of it burn in the ashtray, or draw on it until the filter burned? :)
Nic is not wasted when you set a pv down, which is why many do not need near the % nic they think they do. When I began vaping, I was quickly reminded of how much of the $10 a pack was just going to waste.

I've done the same as well in ordering a higher mg then cutting it to my needs. I was also a 1 1/2 pad smoker and I find that 24mg is a little much for me. I can take a few vapes of that, but any more gives me that "I've had too much" feeling. My main/all day vape is between 16-18mg.

Since I smoked menthol (usually Marlboro or Virginia Slims if I bought pre-rolled, but mainly injected my own using ZigZag menthol), my first order I went for a RY4 and menthol drops thinking I would also prefer to vape menthol. That worked good for me to test the waters, but after finding so many flavors (and so little time) I mainly just vape the menthol to cleanse the pallet between trying new flavors.
