actually, having the viscosity of 75/25 isnt extremely important, just a sort of reference point. im just looking to thin the VG to some degree. does anyone know what percentage of PGA would be a good place to start?
Try 5% and see. It will depend on how much flavoring you use too, since they can thin a juice. Personally I do not use PGA myself. I use distilled water with the general formula %water + %flavor = ~22%. When I did use PGA, 5% with a 10% flavor worked very well. I found it dried me out too much, however, which was why I avoided PG in the first place.
There's no real reason to use PGA over deionised water to dilute glycerine. Water is generally cheaper and safer to use as well. Alcohol is only really beneficial if you need to dilute larger quantities of flavourings that aren't readily water soluble.
this is good to know. i gravitated toward the PGA because i have some left over from an unrelated extraction. i dont have any deionized water but from what i hear its just as cheap as regular bottled water.

You can get distilled water in any grocery store in gallon poland spring containers for under a dollar. PGA ruins my juice everytime i try it so i use DW .I keep the PGA for cleaning my equipment
