Hey guys,

would just like to ask, how often should you change your carto?

what are some of the indications that you should change your carto?

I've a carto, which worked really well, but half way through my 30ml vape, like at 15ml..
I'm on an ECHO..

The carto seems to have lesser flavour..
At other times, i would feel like there's lesser vapour, so i added few drops of liquid.

It ends up, the entire bottom part leaks, and seeps to battery area..

Would a tank system be able to solve this?

Personally, investing in a rebuildable atty is the way forward. Nichrome wire and silica wick is widely available and ships fuss free.

Secondly no need to worry about shipping cartos and punching holes in them.

The bulli A2TM would be good if u dun have the budget for Ody. Beats any OTS stuff I've tried so far

Since no one really answered you..

With cartos it is hard to tell. My personal preference when I use cartos (I too drip almost exclusively now) is to "toss it" pretty quickly. They're disposable, and there is no reason to go out of my way to keep them alive for well past their expiration date.

Ultimately, once the flavor starts to go it can mean a few things. One of which is that your cart met his end. Though, you don't HAVE to toss it unless it's tasting burnt. That's the big one. Once you taste burning: Throw it away!

Hey guys thanks for your replies..

I'm not very tech-savvy on the building part.. I can't really lego anything together, so usually i just go for a standard solution..
If i were to get a dual coil tank at a particular juice store, does that last longer than a carto?

if i keep throwing cartos away, i realise its actually more expensive.. i'm trying to cut from analog and also cost.. =\ life has been hard. sighs. i'm just wondering if investing in a Dual coil tank would be a better investment for long term.

Has anyone tried the dual coil tank? do you need to keep replacing it?

PS: sorry for the questions, i'm really.. a little noob on the technical side.

Do you know of any local supplier for rebuildable atties?
Getting it from the web at that kind of cost is a big risk with the cofiscation at customs.
Thanks.

Yes, dct carto is replaceable and lasts longer than plain carto as e polyfill is constantly juiced up.

To cut costs, maybe end of every week, try blowing out juices from e carto - some say blow out from connecter end, some say blow from top... I will blow from e top end and cover e connector and punched hole(s) with some kleenex. Once my carto doesn't perform well, i try to put it in boiling water and leave it for an hour or two. After it has cooled off, I will again blow from e top any excess water or juice left. Some will tell u to nuke it, spin it or smtg. Worth some research and reading up if u're looking into doing this. After all, what is some reading if u're looking to cut costs, unless time is money to u. Good luck!

Btw, i hv frenz who reuse e same carto for a month on a dct and buy a replacement carto at month's end. Yeah, if u're looking to cut down on costs, e dct would be suitable for u.

@wultan currently there's no supplier selling rebuildable attys here. For a cheap option, someone is letting go some CE4+ rebuildables for small change.

There are some ppl, like me, who used to use a DCT. And when the flavor feels abit off (usually means time to change!), I just pop out the DCs, and pop in a new DC.

As for the old one, I just keep it in a ziplock and consolidate... Then soak it. Or @ least what I used to do anyway... That was my way of budgeting... Hope this helps!! :D

cartos are usable up to 2 weeks at the most. ive read about boiling it to so you could use it again works. ive had my share of cartos and i must say it brought more of the flavor in the juices but having to replace it more often made it a more expensive way of vaping. rebuildables on the other hand it, like karl said, is the way forward. havent had to worry about dying atties and replacing cartos since then. HTH.
