How old is too old?

I was digging through some old boxes today and came across a bottle of unflavored pg/nic juice that I bought a long time ago and was wondering if it would be ok to use.
I bought it when I first discovered e-cigs and thought I was going to make my own juice, but, just finding anything that would keep me off the analogs was a task in and of itself, so I decided it was not a good idea at that time to try and make my own....lol

But now, I don't have that problem and was thinking about DIY'ing again.
I got the bottle in Jan. 2010 (told you it was old). It's a 125ml bottle that is 60mg of nic.
I will be cutting it down to a finished product in the 18mg and below range. That is, if it's still ok to use.

That's my short story, long.
Anybody willing to chime in is appreciated!

If it were VG, it might have gotten a little skunky. PG, however, not so much. The nic probably degraded a bit- probably no longer 6%...

Might have oxidized to have a nice tobacco taste to it, but should be alright. Kurt was leaving some out on purpose to get that taste, but I haven't checked in with him to see how it went. Smell & taste test is your best indicator though.

Keep in mind I am not an expert, nor even a seasoned enthusiast. I'm about as green as it gets regarding DIY and e-cigs in general but from what I understand there is no actual "danger " here, except for an unpleasant taste and/or odor (and the nic content being lower than it was initially). If that's the case, there's really only one way to find out...

I've vaped e-liquid from 2011, it was fine.

Thanks for all the replies......sounds like I can't hurt anything by just giving it a try.....if I can't make a decent flavored juice with it, I'll just pitch it.
