For me, after 45+ years 1.5-2 PAD my choice was solid.
First, I did not Quit Smoking - I Finished Smoking and started vaping instead. Not an Alternative, a Second chance at life.

I've always been competitive and quitting anything just never set right in my mind. :D

-0- Cigarettes in 17+ months:2cool:

Well...can you ever really quit? I know people who quit smoking over a decade ago, who are still afraid of smoking a single cigarette, because they know they'll be right back where they were when they quit. I know people who quit for years, and did just that. They all say the cravings go away, but they're always there, lurking under the surface.

That's the beauty of vaping -- you can vape through your cravings.

Oh, and for those of you who can't resist the craving to still have one or a few cigs a day, I have two pieces of advice:

1) Don't focus on the the number of cigs you're still having; focus on the number you're not having because you're vaping.

2) Try some WTA juice from WholeCig.com. There's a 68-page thread about it here.

THIS!! I did exactly this. I sometimes feel as if I tricked myself into quitting. Which is awesome, because I feel like I got tricked into starting by big tobacco 20 years ago.

Smoking is great man, it's the side effects of modern tobacco that is so bad.

Indeed. There is something wonderful about the inhalation of some type of vapor and expelling it. It's just very freeing. And now it doesn't have to come with a steep penalty. I'm not a hater of Big Tobacco, or anyone else. I'm mad at me, slightly, for not finding the much better alternatives that exist. That's shame on me. I can be independent and enjoy my choices in leisure activities, without doing a damn bit of harm to anyone, including myself.

Your order will arrive soon. Don't let a very small setback send you into a tailspin, though.

Backups for your Backups my friend and that includes juice, batterys, toppers and chargers.

The problem is the upfront cost for many to develop the stockpile hits at the same time a recent switcher is most vulnerable. Slowly over time make sure you have a small stockpile of everything you need to vape.

In the meantime if you really get desperate both blu and fin are 510 threaded so not a total waste if you pick up a starter kit to see you through a rough patch because you ran out of something or something broke. Or even a pack of their cartos that will go on your own device.

I know 2 people in real life who both had quit smoking for over 10 years, and are now smoking full time again. I've found I get no such urges to smoke while I Vape. Yes I'm trying to convert them, but my method is easy, I let them simply know about it and they both know I Vape and for almost a year now, I leave them alone after that, they're adults and aware.

. . .But for the running out of juice....
Honestly... try some non-tobacco flavors. . .I started DIY my 3rd week vaping because I saw how much I was using and was afraid that I would forget to buy in time. :)

Me too. Then, I bought PG/VG in gallons, NIC by the Litre, & flavoring in as large a quantity as I could find. Special Ordered coils by the gross, had half a doz 18650 batts, with only 3 ProVari's. Quess I need to admit to being somewhat "...." 'bout not running out. Feb 6th was my last vape. Gave everything to family members that still smoked. JMHO

Cheers,
otrpu

That stinks, had the same thing happen, I sucked it up and vaped a terrible juice I had. I now have enough juice to last 2 months.

When I was buying pre-mixed juice I always re-ordered about 6 weeks before I would run out. That way if something went wrong I would have plenty of time to order more. These days I make my own juice. I buy PG and VG from my local pharmacy and have a local vendor for nic base and flavorings. I'm spoiled now ;)

I've vaped for about nine months now and I'd certainly take to the vilest liquids I have before smoking a cigarette. Not judging or anything, just what I'd do :) If I ran out of liquids altogether I'm not sure. It's possible that I'd smoke, but I'm starting to think that I wouldn't. Seems like I'm much less addicted to vaping than I was to smoking.

I just cannot stand sweet vape at all. I have tried watermelon, grapes, and sweet tobacco b4. Somehow sweet liquid just doesn't feel right to me. and the B&M liquid I got is not sweet tobacco but man it taste like 99% super sweet peanut butter and 1% tobacco.

Well I found a work around. I tried to add taste wicks to reduce flavor and it worked but I didn't like the semi-dry taste/hit. I ended up setting it up so that my gear would barely burn the juice (intentional semi-flooding). This way I get my nicotine without smelling and tasting peanut too much

Still waiting on my fav tobacco juice.

I have always wondered why this happens to people. I will admit I have never found a e liquid that I love. They all basically taste okay or crap. Why I started DIY and just settle for okay.

The way I look at it even the disgusting flavors taste better than a cigarette.

What I typically do is just vape unflavored. It isn't tasty and it isn't nasty tasting. It is just there.
