I received my Kangertech aero tank mini today, I'm extremely impressed the build quality is amazing the flavour and vapour is wayyyy better (even on my ego starter kit) IMO compared to the disposable clearomizers,

anyway ay ive only been vaping a week and already saved easily £100, My ego is good but the battery life isn't as good as I would like (650 MaH) I've been looking at a vission spinner v2 would it be silly of me to purchase one so soon? Or does anyone have any recommendations to pair up with the aerotank mini? :p

ps sorry if I'm becoming a pain with so many questions :p

Maybe it's time for you to get an 18650 type mod for replaceable batteries instead of ego size batteries.
Having a display that can show you ohms and volts is helpfull when your vape has a glitch.

But if aesthetics is the issue then the ego size suits the mini.

Another MVP2 suggestion here... It's 2300mAh, so you'll get plenty of vape time out of it... Plus it has a "built in charger" including pass through... So rather you're in the car or home if you have a micro-usb charger laying around from a phone or whatever you can just plug it right in and charge away while still continuing to vape. The MVP was the first VV/VW mod I owned, and I still keep it close by to use as a backup when needed... and it'll pair quite nicely with that areotank mini...

I'm mainly looking for something to take to work, the MVP looks and feels great (saw one in a shop today) but it would gut me if I broke it at work, that's why I said vission spinner so I could leave it in my locker at work

I'd be getting an MVP at same time but that would be to keep at home :p

Instead of a spinner I'd recommend an itazte vv v3; the mvp2's little brother. It has a screen.

and won't roll off the table.

I'm curious to why the MVP is so popular as the "next step"?
I'm just starting to do research on an upgrade in the < $200 range and will look into the MVP, but also saw someone mention the ProVari Mini.
Looking for something with the read out on it and pass through. Not sure if I want to get into winding my own coils yet or not, but would like to have a unit that would allow me to do it if I go that route.
I'm coming from an ego blister pack starter kit to an EVOD VV type battery.

The mvp2 turns out to be the best bang for the buck in vape power for new/relativelynew vapers.

Its currently the top seller on 101vapes at $40
High capacity, vv/vw, compact, passthrough battery

only downsides are:
1: it starts at 6 watts (I think) but you can lower the voltage if that's too much. Not so important nowadays with all the dual coils on the market.
2: non replaceable battery; but on the other hand you don't need to buy separate batteries and charger.

3 Reasons:

Functionality (VV/VW Ohmm reader)
Price
Simplicity. No need for external batts or charger

These 3 factors combined make it an excellent upgrade for someone just starting out.
Many people will look only at the cost of the mod; adding external batteries (which also means a charger) adds both cost and complexity; keeping track of batteries, which are charged, etc.

Been vaping almost 6 months and I jumped from an eGo twist to the MVP 2.0 in a couple weeks. Then graduated to a Vamo V5 and getting ready to upgrade again. My sticks are still with me in case I come across someone that would like to start vaping.
Love the feel of the MVP the best but I know once the battery is toast....I will have a pretty paperweight.
Love my Vamo cause I can go higher on watts for some of my juices.
Now to figure out where I want to go from here and not having to take out a second mortgage to pay for it.

Pretty much what they said... It's got great battery life, so it's a step up for those finding their pens dying out quickly. It's very affordable at $40.... It's solid and well built... You can't throw it to the parking lot and expect it to continue working, but with normal treatment it'll last and last. It offers a good range of wattage/voltage for everything from clearomizers or rebuildables... You can stick a crappy clearo on there at 6 watts and get a good solid vape... On the other hand you can stick a kayfun on there at 11 watts and get a good solid vape... It's pretty easy to use and since it won't fire a short or sub-ohm build it's safe for someone who is just starting with rebuildables. It's larger and boxy, but still slips in a pocket... Overall you just can't find the features and performance it offers for anywhere near the price. It's a certain step up from sticks, but gives you plenty of room to grow... For that it makes it a fantastic mod for those looking for a little extra than their sticks can deliver.
