After @Karstine provided some tips on Clapton Wires, I found this youtube explanation. Quite informative.



Clapton: Cooler Vapor, More Surface Contact = more vapor production. The resistance is dependent on the core, the wraps has minimum impact. It is usually slower to heat up.


Forgot to mention one small but quite a nice benefit to Clapton. If you drip on Clapton wire, the gap in the wire will "absorb" the liquid. So it's like an extra layer of wick in the coil. When I drip, I will paint my cotton then drip one or two drop of liquid onto the Clapton

Thanks for this info, it really helps to know that so there is so much to know about vaping other than pressing a button and suck.

Do you think you could do also update the guide to teach the general info about how to make our own coils and such? Those like me lonely and new vapers would find it very helpful.
You relek in the forum..confirm lonely no more one..haha

By the way, most of us actually learn to make coils and stuff thru Mr Google and Mr Youtube..
