The piece inside for the positive connection of the battery is made of any type of 3/4" hose, brass and regular washers welded together, small enough that they don't exceed the diameter of the hose... which is cut to about 1/8". madvapes.com carries the switches and regulators. Home Depot carries the 4" metal nipples. If you want to get chromes nipples, they need to be specially ordered or online. Here is another pic of the connector.

I will have Part 2 of the video on YouTube posted in a little while.
Hope this helps.

What exactly is the plasticky material used for the plug? You said a hose but it looks like the walls off the hose are pretty thick? Could you link the product you used? TIA!
It's just a 3/4" reinforced hose I bought by the foot at Lowes. I then cut it into disks about 1/8-1/4" thick. Just look for anything that fits inside of whatever tube you are using. You can separate the batteries with anything... cut 3/4" dowels into disks and drill a hole to have you wire go through it.

I've gotten some inquiries if I'm going to sell my mods in the future. The best answer is "Maybe"! If I do get enough people asking for them, I'll have to decide on which models to sell. "The Saber" is my favorite. It's chrome and brass, and has nice weight to it. Then I guess I would give the option of selling it as a 3.7v/6v combo, or as a 5v Mod. But I'll have to see. Let me know what you think.
Thanks

See what happens - you posted that video and wondered why no one was watching and commenting - all of sudden - now your head is spinning wondering if you should mass produce them. Next thing you know - you're calling in sick at your day job to make HV Mods 8-o. Looks like you might have hit on something - good luck ! Great thing to have all of you folks that are good with your hands and making stuff like this - it keeps all of us out here that don't venture into that as broke as can be. I'd rather be broke though than try and do this and wind up burning the house down in the process.

It's a funny world... see what happens when you try to "pay it forward"? Good things happen when someone helps you, and you in turn, try to help someone else. Now, this post has over 600 views. Hopefully I have helped someone!
Thanks

I agree - good things come to good people !!!
You did something nice to try and help out someone and I'm sure you have helped many out - myself, I enjoyed reading the thread, but I'll wait until you start making them for sell and I'll be in line to buy one from you. :thumb:

I really do wish I had the talent to do stuff like this, but I'll stick to what I know best. My car mechanic is a great guy that knows his stuff, and I let him work on my car. When he needs pictures of his kids, he calls me - what goes around, comes around !

Photography is one of my many hats too, weird... Have about 90% of what I need, think I need to get the bigger 510 connectors from madvapes for this and I'm ready to go! Have a black nipple with brass caps and an all brass version to start. This modding is getting quite addictive... Pics to follow soon (I hope)

Yep, like I said - it's a small world.
I hear you about the e-cig stuff being very addictive - I traded one nasty habit for a new - but expensive fun one - oh well, at least this habit isn't as bad for my health. :)

It is a lot of fun when it works out! Now, I think I have about 12 different mods built. It seems that anywhere I go in stores, I'm now always looking at how I can this or that as a case for a mod!
