how to calculate my dual coil setup?

Soooo, I just built a dual coil and my evic is reading it at .6 ohms. So to determine wattage and amperage do I use .6 or 1.2? I've read some other threads but seem to find conflicting information..
At 3.7 volts would I be running at 6.16 amps/22.82 watts? Or 3.08amps/11.41 watts?

The first one. You can calculate per coil, which would be 3ish amps, 11ish watts, or for both, which would be 6ish amps, 23ish watts.

On a set voltage, you'll bee using the 0.6ohm (equivalent resistance of two 1.2ohm coils) to find the current and wattage. Edit almost forgot this- With a variable battery, capable of doing subohm, you'll take bOth into consideration to adjust your voltage to.

Well, both is going to be accurate for your total, but calculating for one is important as well. A dual 1.2ohm setup (totalling .6ohms) isn't going to vape the same as a .6ohm single coil.

Amperage changes with variations in resistance and voltage. Google 'Ohm's Law'.

Your eVic is reading the total of both coils. 1.2ohm x 1.2ohm = .6ohm total resistance. Each coil is 1.2ohms, but combined they're .6.

Another thing to take into account during calculation is that batteries come off the charger at around 4.2v. Which basically means, with a .6ohm build (which is the proper figure to use) there is an extra amp of current draw with a fresh battery, compared to a 3.7v battery. Hopefully you have left enough headroom with your batteries to not worry about an amp or two, but I just figured I'd mention it.
