Kay, if you want to keep your eGo in your pocket - still handy, but clean - check these out:

GotVapes eGo Cone w/ Screw-on Cap - REGULAR STYLE STAINLESS [gv-egoVERTICALCONE-regularSTNLS] - $6.75 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more - stainless, no clip (out of stock at the moment)
I have the no-clip version in black myself and I LOVE it. A wide variety of cartos will fit nicely inside the tube. It'll keep chaff/lint away from the battery connection and your mouthpiece. The cap screws on so it's secure (better than using a condom, IMO - I tried that too, this is much better). Easily unscrew the cap for a quick
vape, then right back into your pocket or purse. It protects the carto/batt connection by encasing it in a metal tube, which has eliminated all my concerns about taking a CE2 (or similar
tank-style carto) out into the world, since they are a leak-prone and somewhat fragile. This combo was a total solution for me, works great and looks good too.
I noticed another vendor who was selling these as part of a carto kit, but can't recall who it was, sorry.
Measurements, since this info isn't part of the product description:
Length of vertical "cone" from bas, including threads exposed with cap off - 2-3/16"
Length of cap - 1-1/8"
Total length - 3-3/16"
If your carto/mouthpiece assembly of choice is between about 2-1/2" and 2-3/4" (measuring from the carto's base, not including the threads that screw inside the battery well) - it should fit. The inner diameter of the tube is a bit larger than a normal eGo cone - so it's great for those clearomizers that are slightly too fat to be cone-friendly (unless of course you modded your regular cones already). This cone/cap combo is great for Visions (depending on length), Sapphires, and XL-size CE2s.
NOTE: Regular length cartos are just too short for this, but might be long enough with a 510 extender and a DT. Sadly, both Fusions and 801 atties are too fat to fit, as is my Ming DT from Cherry Vapes.
I don't think I would
vape any carto that got dropped in the chicken coop. Yick. Even if it was a brand-new Fusion, I'd just have to trash it.
