How to Clean Grey Grime off battery component?

I have this CBOT Lite which up until now has been working fine other than reading ohms off by +0.2 and now it reads the ohms totally wrong (reading ohm at 5/9 ohms when it is a 0.5 coil) and thus the chipset doesn't let me fire.

I have tried cleaning the part above with contact cleaner but it does not get rid of some of the grime. I think juice has leaked into the electronics by the previous owner (bought this 2nd hand)

Any recommended way to clean it off without soldering the wires off?

Have you tried a PCB cleaner /flux-rosin remover?

Thanks for the suggestion, i've never seen this brand but i'll keep an eye out for it!

I'd suggest a product like this. I find Qtips and Isopropyl alcohol useful in a lot of situations though.
