I plan on getting a mech mod for my AGA and I want to get a RSST (i could never afford a AC9). We all know why Mech mods are best for Gennys. Also we need to know the power left in the battery as to not over discharge and to know the power level when i need to oxidize a wick using the pulse method. (which i want to do with the AC9 Clone when i get one. So i also have to considers the price of the RSST and a Mech mod and if it doesn't use either 18350 or 18650 ill need another battery too) I have NEVER owned a Mech mod Alas i sadly cannot afford anything not from china I have a VAMO (its good but first drop onto concrete it messed up the power button so it sometimes sticks), Although i am lucky that it gets stuck in a way its unable to fire instead of constant firing, IDK what it is as its not easy to take apart (well do so and put it back )

So first what setting should i use on this multimeter or do I need a better one (i want a better one anyway as mine uses a specialized battery and last less and costs more than a 9 volt battery powered Multimeter I think it was like $15

Now to the next part of my post I will need a good CHEAP (Sorry for the oxymoron their) Chinese Mech. I Have been looking at and thinking i might like "THE Natural) For a mech mod I Don't care where the button is placed (pinky bottom button) Although the telescope type with a bottom button IDK i think i wont like it much. Although i don't want the type of telescope mod that has an uneven bottom I would rather have something like the vamo with extensions if i wish to use different battery's.

I normally use either an ego or my vamo with a carto tank when on the go. When Im at home I prefer gennys (i actually prefer them the most) Its just when im on the go i want no problems and no leakage. Sorry for my essay (i am getting off topic here now but here is the meat
THE MEAT OF THE ISSUE

What setting do i use on the multimeter i have and posted a pic of (i hope its readable all) to measure my battery life to not over discharging it. If my multimeter is not capable for some reason please maybe link me to an amazon or a department store so i can look at it and know what i need. I appreciate any help on this and Thank you in advance for the advice.

Also with what i stated before I want/need a Mech Mod. I like the natural and the china GG they both look very similar but IDK.
So any suggestions on the best mech mod to get at a good price Ill Check around for the best price so unless its an ECF vender then feel free to do some legwork for me.
CONCLUSION

So by now i think this post is long enough and you (person who wants to help me) can understand and i appreciate it. So Thanks to you all post readers and especially to those who Reply with an answer to my question. I wont be buying anything today i am still researching for what i want and then I may wait for a sale or something. I just want the besat for my money who doesn't. Lastly ANY Comments are appreciated thanks a lot guys and gals

That multimeter will do you just fine. For resistance in ohms use the lowest ohm setting - 200 at the bottom. The cheaper meters do not take the lead wires into account. Measure the leads by touching the ends of the probes together and check the value it reads when it has settled. If it reads 0.6 ohms, subtract 0.6 from the coil resistance you get. Better meters allow you to zero this out.

For battery charge check the voltage as martinc said. I try to replace the battery at 3.5. That way if I miss and go under, it doesn't get too low.

I am getting a China GG, but don't have it yet. People are quite happy with them. I also hear good things about the Natural. Both are reasonably priced.

One more thing. Use a good quality IMR (or other safe chemistry) battery. AW, Panasonic and MNKE are great, but buy from a trusted supplier. There are fakes out there. I would not use a no-name battery. I am planning on exploring sub one ohm coils and have a couple of MNKE's coming. They seemed to me to be the safest way to go for that.
