Hi folks,
Looking for a solid beginners guide for mech mods, specifically with using a multimeter, how where and when? I have a smoktech magneto coming in soon, and a I-Chybrid already at home. I have been vaping for 8 months and have experience rebuilding on my RSST at around 1.4 ohms. I have used my RSST on my vamo, but am looking at moving into the mech world at all. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Personally, I use the ohm reader on my vamo when building coils. It's easy to just put the device on and check ohms without firing it. Then I will move it to another device. I have a nice meter, but I find the vamo to be a little easier sometimes.

It's really no different than on your Vamo. You can still use your Vamo to check resisitance even if it's too low to actually vape on the Vamo. Try to find youtube videos for your specific rebuildables. If you build low ohms - use this ohm's law calculator to make sure your battery is up to the task.

If you're not sure what your battery can handle, just google it. .there is info for just about every battery imaginable on the web.
