Just wanted to put together a little how to upgrade your EHPro Caravela clone with a magnetic switch. This should also help the guys with the other versions of the Caravela get the general idea. The button is smoother and stiffer than the spring which I like.
It's a great $8 upgrade for any mechanical mod.
1. Unscew your bottom switch from the rest of the mod. You can see the 2 magnets we will be using shortly.
2. Unscrew the fire button from the switch by turning it clockwise. You might have to hold the center pin down as you do this.
3. Once the fire button is unscrewed everything comes apart easily.
4. Take one of your magnets and drop it in the center of the body of the switch.
5. Put the center pin back through the center hole of the switch. The magnet should stay right where it is.
6. Put the other magnet on the end of the fire button. It will hold itself in place on the button.
7. Now just slowly screw the fire button back onto the center pin of the switch, again you may have to hold the other side of the center pin to help things along. The switch should be fully assembled at this point.
8. Screw your switch back on your mod and give it a try.
9. As you can see the magnets hold it up just fine even with a topper.
