A few methods one called the condom where you take the rubber protection cover it was shipped in fill will juice and slide it on forcing the juice into the hole. I think thats how it goes saw it done once. Or easy way fingernail or paper clip hook that rubber nub mouth piece off drip into the hole. I don't like those mouth bits anyway so stuck a drip tip on there cause dripping is my main method, just bought a carto to see what it was about.

I've read everywhere that says you just drip like 8 drops into the cart.. but theres a hole at the bottom where you inhale, and when you puff on it all the liquid goes in your mouth its disgusting. How do you fill these properly?

I just set mine on a pprtowel, fill with a syringe (or dripping) and let it sit and soak in for about 30 minutes. Might not need to leave it that long but the thicker the juice (VG) the longer it needs to soak. Once I've done that, I put it in the atty, wipe off the mouth piece and vape, usually no problems. If there is a puddle of juice left on top, dab that off with the pprtowel before inserting it into the atty. Don't suck so hard on the cartridge that it pulls any excess juice thru the hole. If you draw lightly, juice shouldn't come out.

That help??

What model do you have. Not every cart is the same. And do you even have carts (aka cartridges) or cartomizers (aka cartos?). If your cart pushes onto or into an atomizer then it is a cartridge aka cart. If the juice-holding part screws directly onto the battery then it is a cartomizer aka carto.

Which do you have? What model ecig? And if you have a cartridge, does it push on OVER the atomizer or INTO the atomizer?

Sometimes if you overfill the filter part (the plastic piece that has the fluffy stuff in it) and you flood your atomizer, you can get hot juice back in your mouth. The trick is to fill them until they look a bit slushy and then stick them on the atomizer. (don't fill them from the mouth end). If you hear a gurgling sound when you draw on it, take the atomizer off your battery and take the cartridge off, then blow out the juice from the atomizer and put it back together.

If you're talking about a one-piece cartomizer, just fill it from the sides until the liquid stops absorbing, screw it onto the battery and enjoy. You can also blow out the cartomizer, too if it seems flooded. I'm sloppy with cartomizers. I just fill liquid in the top until it starts dripping out the battery end, blow the excess liquid back into the bottle and go. I don't fuss with drip-wait-drip-let sit, drip some more. I'm impatient like that. lol

    Let's not get confused here!

What are you using? A cratridge that plugs into an atomizer, or a cartomizer, or a tank that plugs into an atomizer.

Three different devices with three very different solutions.

My first thought when I read the OP was that he is trying to use the dummy cart that comes with a new atty.

M401? I started on that. I bought 2 other models within 4 weeks.

You take the cart off and stick a small unbent paper clip in the mouth hole to push up the tiny juice cup. You add some juice to the cup (just enough to look damp), make sure the stuffing is at the top edge of the juice cup, then get the juice cup back down into the mouthpiece without pressing on the stuffing (use paper clip against the inner wall of the mouthpiece and press down on juice cup edge, or use the cart plug).

It's a bit better with blue foam stuffing - I cut down the the small pieces for 510 at strictlyejuice.com (search there for foam). Cheap - under $1 for 10. I cut the foam about 3/4 the inner length of the juice cup and a tiny tiny bit wider - just enough to help it stay in place but not so it presses closed the holes in the foam). And taper the inner end a bit. Fill juice cup 1/2 way with juice. Press the foam, tapered end first, down into the liquid to wet it (use the paper clip), Reposition the foam at the top edge and top off with 1-3 drops - just to look damp, not a puddle. While vaping, top off as needed. When topping off does not work, do a full fill.

The carts are a pain in the a. Nice looking, nice flavor, but pain in the a. If you search around you MIGHT find some old CE2 cartomizers for it - those need a syringe to fill and will probably be a pain too since they have been improved since then. As for cart and atomizer? Carts suck, they will dump juice without warning. Most people use cartomizers, and to have access to lots of cartomizers in a slim ecig, you either need to go Joye 510 (plenty of blank cartos though Boge are most popular) or KR808D-1 (Vapor4Life, SmokelessImage - prefilled and blank cartos) and I recommend manual batteries on either to help prevent killing a battery if a cartomizer leaks a bit.

If you want something that looks like a cigarette to start with, get Joye 510 manual in white with a red/orage LED, and get the Boge tan or white cartomizers (standard resistance only!) at NiteLiteVapor.us. Don't buy a clone 510 - some are crappy and one is reverse polarity and fries real 510's with its chargers. There is a nice roomy cig-pack-look PCC for the short 180mah 510's at NoSmokeVA.com

(note - stuffing-type cartos will NOT dump their contents like carts do. Cartos occasionally leak a bit onto the battery. If you clean them up well after adding juice you should not get juice in your mouth)
