Yes it's an M401

I started on a manual. I still use it occasionally for an extra dessert flavor - it delivers flavor well.

I didn't notice you were in Canada. Have you been to the Canada section of ECF where Canada vendors are listed?

Read what I wrote at length on the previous page about how to fill your carts, how to restuff them (the product the blue foam is cut from is Marineland Rite-Size U Foam Sleeve for H.O.T. Magnum Filters - a specific aquarium product, in case strictlyejuice won't send the light under $1 package of small pieces of foam to Canada. The full bulk piece could cost you 10x as much).

They have to have a hole or you can't draw (obviously) but the trick is not overfilling them. Those look very much like the carts I received with my crappy mall kit where the little cup to hold the filler and juice is teeny-tiny and can only hold about three drops of liquid. Any more and it would spill out over the sides and it would be all juice in my mouth. The advice given to get a better set up is the way to go. If you read through the forums, you'll see that most people who start out with a standard "cigarette" style piece quickly change as they are pretty much all crap.

It is a difficult to use model. The carts are a pain. Don't throw out the carts. I am still using my original cart on the old M401 - I have restuffed it twice with blue foam. One you get juice in your mouth you have to push the little juice cup up and out and dry the inside of the mouthpiece with a Q-Tip, dry the outside of the little juice cup with a tissue, and try again.

Come on - I managed to quit a 1.5-2 PAD habit and for the first 4 weeks I only had that same model you have. You need to not overdo it with the juice. And get that blue foam. It holds its shape better than the white filling.

Hang in there, its totally worth it! I guess I was lucky when I bought my cheapy e cig from a local smokeshop, it worked well enough to get me off analogs pretty quickly. Now I'm knee deep in cartos and juice and theres no looking back. Be patient, play around with it like Dormouse has suggested, she KNOWS what she's talking about and helped me out many times when I was getting started!!
