Vape is a progressive hobby, and to get ones ultimate vape is a journey that never ends. And there are many paths to finding the cumulous nimbus vape.

I started with cig-a-likes>ego's and pt's>regulated & rba's>mechs, rba's & DIY juice> high amp regulated & more rba's> now just waiting for the next innovative rba and regulated mod.

All along the path one must learn, try, fail, try, perfect, learn some more, lots more. The best vape possible comes at a cost. Must invest time. Time to learn, read, learn safe vape techniques, and learn some more.

Try to learn how to get the best vape out of the gear that you have. To max out the potential of your mod, the atomizer is the place to look. Since new, something like the Aspire Nautilus will take one a fair ways along. Decent vape flavor and mass, can handle up to 11 watts if maintained properly. Want more? then an rba, re-buildable atomizer may be in your future or possibly a carto tank, hear some really like those too.

The main thing in finding the best vape possible, is the vaper themselves. What one is willing to do to acquire their Ultimate Vape.

Vape long and Prospre.!!!

P.S.: The cat bites.!

Trust me mate, it takes some time in the vape journey. My first vape was a crappy 21stCenturySmoke disposable from a local Speedway gas station. Gave up on vaping and went back to cigs for a year before buying a blue kit and hated it, but saw potential. Went into the local mall and a kiosk was there. Bough a Vision Spinner 1300mah and some iclear 16s and became a exclusive vapor. Smoked three packs a day for 6 years. A great set up at the time and been vaping nearly a year now. I'm now using mechs and a dna30 with rebuidables, the guy who ran the kiosk gave me a job. We got our own B&M now, and its been not only a new hobby but even cultural for me.

I have two X6s with the two Kamry KTS+s I have. Good flavor decent vapor production. Its also dependent on the Cartos used. Try maybe dual coiled other than single. maybe even horizontal coiled to vertical. I have nothing but good experience with Boge cartos. The stock cartos that came with the KTS sucked. Burned out in an hour of vaping, little vapor and super tight draw. The X6 is a fairly good inexpensive carto tank.

Alright, I'll try the VG base eliquids out then for a little bit and work my way up, BUT, the vape stores near me don't make VG liquids, I've asked already, it's only PG, where can I buy VG liquids from online?

The reason most local vape shops don't sell high VG is because most of those places don't market to advanced users who understand what VG does to an atty/carto. If they did, or sold exclusively VG, an unreasonable portion of their customers would return crying about their atomizers not working after a few days, rather than the couple weeks they're used to. It makes sense, but is unfortunate for people like me who can't tolerate PG because of sensitivities. I vape exclusively Mount Baker Vapor. Cheap, flavorful juice and they send freebies all the time depending how big your order is

Another question I have is, do they make tanks that enhance flavor? Because so far, I don't taste the eLiquids AT ALL, none, I have currently Jolly Rancher Blue, Saturn, and Monster Energy flavors, and I don't taste a single one, idk how to explain it, but they all taste the same to me, I have friends that have Saturn and Jolly Rancher blue, and they taste them just fine, and I taste them just fine on their vapes as well, with one of my friends having the same exact Vape Pen as myself, the X6, but on my X6, I taste.. nothing... Am I doing something wrong?... Orrrrr....

Some juices need steeping, or letting sit for a little bit to get some better flavor, but also if all three juices dont taste like anything you might want to find some new juice. Namber Juice, Mt. Baker, Alice In Vapeland, and many more online order sites provide amazing juice..
If you still aren't getting flavor after getting some new juice you might want to check your tank or think about a new mod.

Noob checking in... Is there any purpose behind cloud chasing beyond the visual effect? I'm just using it to replace analogs. What am I missing?

I my self started to replace analogs but after a while and meeting more people.
It became a hobby for myself, clouds are more visual affect and adds to the experience as a whole.
But thats just for myself, I still have an mvp 2 and some vision spinners that its all about the juice and not smoking.
When I'm at home or hanging out with my friends its all about having some cloud chasing fun!

I just want to say, be safe, please be safe. I've been around some sub ohm vaping and "big clouds" - I read a lot, a lot, a ton. There is a huge danger if you don't know what you are doing. Listen to everyone here and don't chase clouds until you have a "masters" in vaping so to speak. All I really want to say is please be careful. Warm regards - Barbara

I stopped reading on the second page so if this has been said, sorry, but it never hurts to say it again.

Cloud chasing is a hobby in itself. The average vaper does not blow those massive clouds and that is probably a good thing. If everyone and their mother was walking around blowing plumes that rival Hiroshima there would undoubtedly already be much heavier regulation than there is.

So, if you decide to cloud chase, chase responsibly. This includes chasing safely and respectfully. People here won't be offended by your clouds, but the masses, including many smokers may be.

DO NOT EVEN WRAP A SINGLE COIL WITHOUT BEING FAMILIAR WITH BATTERY SAFETY

Now, onto the fun part.

Things you'll need: (this is just one method and the method I use, there are other ways, do your research)

Device:
Either a mechanical mod or a regulated mod that will allow you to fire sub-ohm coils (DNA20 or DNA30)

The cheaper route here is the mechanical. When I started out the Smok magneto was recommended as a solid performing cheaper mech mod and it worked for me until I decided to upgrade. It still works just fine.

Atomizer
A rebuildable dripping atomizer is the way to go here. These can be had for as little as 10 bucks or into the hundreds. Watch some videos and read some reviews to find out which type you would like. My favorites right now are the Trident V2 and the Brass Monkee

Wick material
Silica, organic cotton, ekowool, ceramic, stainless steel, bamboo....the list goes on and on here and boils down to personal preference. The 2 most commonly used are silica and cotton with cotton being the cheapest and my personal favorite so far.

Wire
Kanthal is the most commonly used. Most cloud chasers will use the lower gauge wire or twist higher wires together. The lower the gauge the lower the resistance. Watch videos and read up on coil building techniques.

Juice
Juices with a higher VG (vegetable glycerin) content will generally create more vapor. Many cloud chasers actually use zero nicotine juice when they are chasing. I use 6mg juice across the board, but I also don't cloud chase much, I chased until I got a vape that I was happy with.

Tools
ohm meter with a 510 connection (can use a multimeter instead but these are cheap and make life easy), precision screw driver set, drill index, cutters (wire cutters, nail clippers, precision scissors), tweezers, butane torch, a drill, vice grips, and lots of vaper towels

***MOST IMPORTANTLY BATTERIES***
Know what kind of batteries you are using. Know their limits. Know how to find out what your coils are asking your batteries to do and if your batteries are capable of doing it safely. IMHO if you are sub ohming the best batteries currently available are the Sony vtc4, sony vtc5. Also make sure you have a multi meter to check the voltage levels on your batteries before and after charging. If they aren't where they should be, toss em. Batteries are cheap, body parts aren't.
