How to Identify Dura-C atomizer...

I just noticed one new atomizer I just got is shiny brass
and not the dull brass of all other Dura atomizers.

it has 4 holes, 2 of them filled in like previous Duras.

Is this the new atomizer?

the shine really "blings up" the Dura!

It has been given a satin finish on the part you can see when the unit is together and has 'Janty' printed in light grey

I mean the gold portion of the atomizer. shiny or dull (they are all dull except this one I just recieved which is shiny and looks cool)

it sounds like your talking about just the battery.

No the gold section of the atomiser is satin finished

Both Dura-c sets I just got have dull brass Janty bands with 2 holes. They were delivered monday.

Interesting. I got my Dura-C 3 days ago and it came with both- one shiney / one satin - both two hole atomizers. The satin finish one tastes like ... and the cart's are much looser than on the shiney version of the atomizer.

Makes me wonder if the shiney finished ones are newer atomizers.

(I have tried to clean, prime, drip and pray but the satin finished atomizer still tastes like ... 8-o )

I think we're on to something. Love the shine.

I too have an atomizer that tastes like .... I only use it to
test USB Direct mods now.

My Dura-C atomizer died within 36 hours of vaping . Now I understand why they give you two!

I have a dura set, (pre 'C' - and it still works!) The Atomizers are 2 hole, dull finish. 'Janty' printed in grey on the brass part.

I have three Dura C sets. The first one was a used on i purchased of the forum. It was more than likely an original Dura. Both atomizers were three hole with on hole glued shut. Dull brass finish.

The second Dura C was from Janty, there second shipment of Dura C's. It came with a black atomizer two hole and a white atomizer two hole. Shinny Brass Finish.

The third Dura C came just two day's ago. Came with a two hole shinny atomizer and a three hole one glued shut dull brass finish. It seem's to have coking in the atomizer and was full of juice when I opened it tastes like burned cr..p. I assumed they are putting kits together out of spare parts used parts whatever they can find around.

Not that funny 1 hole 2 hole 3 hole 4 hole. Only have three holes. One glued shut.

I had that same thought.

I've got 2 hole, 3 hole with 1 glued shut and 3 hole all open. All received this last week.

I'm going to try the ...-omizer again and see if it still tastes funky. I cleaned it out again last night and let it dry.

I just got a backup atomizer from Janty- Dull brass and funky taste but it seems to be getting better with use.
