How to keep e-juice fresh.......problem

I'm a 2-year user of the Joye 510. My favorite so far is the 'coffee' flavor e-liquid however..............
I buy the 30ml bottles and the hit factor only seems to stick around for about half the bottle. I just ordered several of the 10ml bottles this time and will nest the bottles that I'm not using in the fridge. Is this a good idea?
What is the shelf-life for a bottle of e-juice that isn't exposed to heat or direct sunlight? I can't imagine why it would get weak after half the bottle. And yes I do shake it vigorously before using each time.

Your juice should be good for about a year, particularly if you keep it refrigerated or frozen. The "hit" you're missing may be the smoothing out of the flavor with aging. Many vapers will allow their juice to steep for a time to allow the flavors to blend together and smooth out.

You are capping it after each use right? I think exposure to air will evaporate any PGA (grain alcohol) the vendor may have adding to thin it or enhance hit. And one guy said exposure to air can decrease the nicotine. Try filling a 5 or 10 ml bottle from the 30ml and only refilling it when low. That would cut the openings of the big bottle down to a few. But I use 30ml bottles and don't really have that problem. I use cartomizers and I keep the bottle closed.

Note - if you are using atomizers I would suspect the atomizer. I use cartomizers - at least they are meant to be disposable. After I've used one for 7-10 days (or more) and it gets to where the flavor and vapor are weak, I toss it and start a new one.

shaking vigorously each time will break up the flavor molecules. I don't know why but I found it here on the forums a few times. Mix up by tilting a few times but don't shake vigorously. Just store your juice in a cool dry spot. A lot of the flavor is based on aroma and that will dissipate over time. Your coffee flavor is very much an aromatic flavor and for best results should be used within a month. I haven't found any yet that is good on week 5 as it was on week 2.

What coffee flavor are you using?


as a side note: I also do what Dormouse said but that's because I blend and "diy". I mix my ready flavors in either 3ml or 5ml containers so I can leave the original containers resting and unopened as much as possible

you can't put a price on "happy". The few bucks I have spent on dark brown bottles ranks high on the good list when it comes to vaping

Refrigeration isn't a good idea. It can cause your flavorings in your juice to go south and spoil. Most vendors will tell you that it's 18-24 month shelf life...store in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight. Refrigeration/freezing is what is used to store unflavored nic. I have a couple of bottles that are a little over a year old and taste fine.

see above. Get a couple in 30-60ml, maybe one in 15 and the "ready to go" stuff I store in a drawer in the 3-10ml dropper bottles. The hard part is throwing new dropper bottles away. But when you get a new 30ml bottle, transfer it and touch it as little as possible

Refrigeration can cause separation of certain oils from the VG/PG mixture. If using within a month you can get away without refrigeration. Also be sure to keep out of sunlight!

If using coffee - are you using a very light/clear flavorant? Dark colors can clog equipment and cause reduced vape!
