it will taste burnt, if you open up your coils it will also build up black gunk. depending how often you vape and at what temp/wattage for that coil it is easy to burn it out. but just because it has a burnt flavor doesn't mean the coil is burnt it could be lack of wicking.

often i find the coil i use to have issues with wicking so i just troubleshoot it how i can and it goes away then if it gets a very consistent burnt taste no matter what i do i simply toss it. this is why i moved to RDA's ASAP because disposable coils are fricken expensive compared to building your own and i often find that they are tightly packed with cotten making it hard as hell to wick juice.

As Topwater mentioned, a coil doesn't really burn, it gets gunked and the wicking material may scorch.

There's no reason why you can't pulse these coils and burn some of the gunk off them. Maybe give them a little squeeze of the tweezers to tidy them up a bit, quick rinse and wick and back to vaping.

Depending on use you can reuse the same coil for weeks or even months with just minimal housekeeping.

Hi imshaunyo. Those really don't look all that bad, really, just a tiny bit crusty. One of the things I do is get my coils red hot and stick them under a light stream of water from the tap, the cold shock often breaks the "crust" off the coils and gets them looking much newer, but a little discoloration won't hurt anything.

Hard for me to tell with my old eyes from the image but do you have the same # of wraps on both coils?
I'd heat up and squeeze that rear coil (both actually to be consistent). Just let go of the fire button before you squeeze with needle nose pliers or you'll get a jolt (unless you have ceramic tweezers).
