Heh. Yeah, this is an old one used to expose environmental activists' practices. It was actually first done by a high school student as a social experiment. He got some large number of people (can't remember the exact figure, but it was a lot) to sign a petition against water. Kid was a genius. Could apply here for sure. Season 1, Episode 13 of Penn and Teller's Bull**** "Environmental Hysteria" is a good one to watch about this. They also have a good episode about second hand smoke.

ahhhh yes
and after clicking on the 'water is dangerous' website link(and exploring links on that site)

sirens went off and a trojan horse somehow played a silly game with my antivirus program. it's now safely isolated .... just a heads up for those who explore links while exploring links.
