Well a problem might be a lot of flavors contain a bit of ethyl alcohol. So as your adding flavor to your somewhat thick PG, its thinning it quite a bit. In order to thicken up PG with no VG though i have no idea..I don't really think there is a secret, other then using flavors that contain only flavor and PG..?

OK, I see what you mean. I wonder how the vendors do it? I just ordered a bunch of Flavour Art flavorings directly from Italy. I think those are all PG. I'll have to look it up to make sure. I thought maybe even though vendors say its 100% PG that maybe they are still adding some VG to thicken it up. Thanks for answering though.

I had ordered bacon flavor from Flavourart. I had read on the thread where some said it made really good juice. So, I made some today.

I wasn't done posting this and accidentally hit submit.

Anyway, I haved 12 ml of gag. OMgosh it is so bad.

I made 30mg juice. I put 6ml of 60mg nicotine juice then decided to use 3ml of bacon flavor since I like a lot of flavor and 3ml of non nicotine PG. I guess I way over did it. It is so horrible I think I have ruined it for myself even if I dilute it down. I can't stand the smell. Plus it doesn't really smell/taste like bacon. has anyone else used Flavourart bacon flavoring?

I have used FlavourArt before, but I never used bacon.
But, it is almost the same with most of the flavors from FlavourArt. If you use too much flavor, it tasts terrible, and they (FlavourArt) state that on their Web site.

I went into the same trouble before when I used FlavourArt for the first time. I used the Calculator, and it was set already on 20%, then I used 10% and then 5%, and still tasts bad and also it did not taste or smell as the original flavor.

Well, it is very simple. Use 1% to 2%, and that's it. Let it sit for a little bit, 15 minutes, and it tastes wonderful. The next day, it would taste better.

What I have done, is reuse the calculator to thin the liquids I made already. If you need help, I will explain in more detail.
But, the key with FlavourArt is 1% - 3%. Start with 1% always. (This is how they recommend it on thier Web site).

Because you used 6ml of 60ml nicotine juice to make 30ml e-juice, I think you are trying to make a strength of 12mg/ml (I could be wrong, because I did not take into account the ml of the flavor you used).

If I am right, then you need 6ml nic juice, 23.5ml PG base (or pg/vg), and 0.3ml of flavor or 10 drops of flavor. (each ml = 33 drops) and you are done. This will give you 30ml of e-juice.

Of course, instead of wasting new flavor, you could use the old mix you made; but, I need to know the exact amounts of the old mix to be able to reuse it.

OK, that is good to know. I was trying to read some recipes on their website but I couldn't read it and I didn't see anywhere to change the language to English. The way I have it now its 1/4 bacon flavoring. Yikes. And it really is absolutely HORRIBLE. I don't wanna throw it out though. I guess I could try diluting it. The reason I made it so strong is b/c when I used the calculator using 20% with another juice I made it wasn't strong enough. But I wasn't using Flavourart flavorings either. The other flavorings I was using I would mix 6 ml batches and use 2ml nic juice, 2ml flavoring and 2 ml PG and they turned out perfect. I guess Flavourart is really really concentrated.

Gosh, it gets confusing doesn't it. Ok here is what I had.

60 milligram nicotine juice.
PG
bacon flavoring (pg)

I wanted to make 30 milligram nic juice. So, I used 6 milliliters of nic juice, 3 milliliters of bacon flavoring and 3 milliliters of plain PG.

For the sake of simplicity, lets make the recipie at 2%, considering that you like extra flavor.

in each 10ml of the juice you already made you have 2ml of flavor. (if you used the 20% on the calculator)
This is assuming that the Nicotine juice is 100% PG, and your base is 100% PG.

Ready made juice ............. Flavor ............ PG ............ Nicotine
10....................................... 2 .................. 6 ................ 2

Now, for each 100ml of new juice, you need:

New Juice ............. Flavor......... PG ............Nicotine
100......................... 2 ............ 78 .................20

So, for the new juice, you want to use 10-ml of the old juice (to get the 2ml of flavor), and you will get with it 2-ml of nic, and 6-ml of PG.

The rest will be:

Flavor: 2 - 2 = 0
PG: 78 - 6 = 72
Nicotine: 20 - 2 = 18

This will give you 100-ml of new juice of 2% flavor strength. (18+72 = 90) + the 10-ml of the old juice.

Yes you are right,

For 30 ml (2% flavor, 12 mg/ml nicotine), you need (Flavor, PG, Nic) (0.6, 23.4, 6) ml:

In each 3-ml of the old juice you have (F 0.6, PG 1.8, Nic 0.6), so:
Old juice:............................ 3-ml
PG: 23.4 - 1.8 = ................ 21.6-ml
Nic: 6 - 0.6 = ...................... 5.4 -ml

If you let the new juice sit for a day or a couple of days, it would even taste better, and the flavor would be more pronounced.

It is very hard to align the text to make it readable.

I had to read this twice but I got it. thank you so much

Alrighty, I haven't fixed the bacon ejuice yet. I really can't stand the smell of it yet. But I did make some RY4 with Flavourart's RY4 flavoring.

Target nic -25mg

Target amount -8ml
________________________

100 mg PG Nic -2ml

PG -4ml

VG -1 1/2ml

RY4 flavoring -1/2 ml

few drops of EZ sweets

So far it's pretty good. I never wait for the steeping. It might be missing something so I might add a few drops of caramel. Of course that will change the nic mg.

Is that ry4 flavoring concentrated? If so where did you get it?

Very concentrated. I ordered it straight from the Italian Flavourart website. The reason I ordered it straight from them is b/c I wanted to make sure my flavors weren't diluted at all. I'm not accusing any particular vendor of doing this but for my own peace of mind I wanted to receive my flavorings direct. It took about 3 weeks.

I have used some Flavourart and LorAnns from a couple of other vendors and in those recipes I had to use 1/3 flavoring to have quality taste. (1ml nic pg, 1ml pg and 1ml flavoring) My current batch of flavorings from Flavourart seem extremely concentrated and I cannot use anywhere near a 1/3 ratio.

About the Flavourart RY4. I have only tasted 2 premixed RY4 juices. One was from FreedomSmokeUsa and the other was from UNsmoke. I never tried the original RY4 so I didn't know what it was supposed to taste like. Both premixed juices I tried were completely different from each other. I have read that RY4 is supposed to have a hay and grass flavor. Well, THIS tastes exactly like that imo. I do like it but it is so different than the other RY4 I tried.

Cool Thanks. I just got Ikenvape RY4 that is really nice. I also like to have concentrated stuff. In my mind its cheaper. I get my fav vape from american e liquid store. Djarum Black Clove then I mix 20% Flav 20%VG nic, 50%vg, 5%Distilled water 5% vodka. Perfect mix for me. I'm going to check out flavour art may order ry4 once my ry4 is gone. Maybe I will keep 6 ml so I can do a comparison. mm That sounds better. I order today. lol
