How to properly polish metal

I wonder if anyone can fill me in on the proper way to polish metal.. I've ordered flitz metal polish, some renaissance wax and some cape cod polishing cloths. What kind of cloths do you folks use in conjunction with flitz and renaissance? Any particular brands recommended?

I use mothers polish and micro fiber cloth.

Ive used some brasso and a micro fiber cloth, which seemed to leave tiny fine scratches on it, not sure if it was the cloth or if the brasso was too abrasive

Pretty sure it is the brasso. It is fairly gritty.

Is this only for aluminum gg's? And does he use the cleaner and the protector? Mmm looks interesting

What about Autosol?

I am still waiting for my GGTS and UFS so I cannot review it's affect on GG products but it works great on drip tips and car parts.

Sharkhide is for everything here is what their website says

Mothers billet is legit ! Brass dont tarnish that fast using mothers and for ss it polish real nice; incase you guys want to go extreme polish nothing will compare to using a drill or dremel with proper attachment.
