How to reduce Ohms

Hi. I bought some 26 guage fused clapton wire. Im running duel coils and can only achieve 6 wraps due to space but im getting .14 Ohm... How can i reduce?

Also what application can 26 guage fused clapton be used for if you can't get a higher resistance on a dual coil set up. Any Ideas?

Please tell us what battery device you are using, which RDA/topper and exactly what battery you have.

If you want to reduce your resistance, omit a wrap from each coil; 5/6 wrap VS 6/7 wrap.

Ummm, thinner wire will increase the resistance of your coil.

why does the OP want to go lower? 0.14Ω is quite low. you wouldn't want to go lower on a single 18650

What are you trying to reduce - the number of wraps or the ohms? In my opinion, .14 ohm is pretty low already.

You can also increase resistance by increasing the ID of each coil. ID = Inner Diameter

Guys, he's running a dual coil setup here. We need more info on what he's running, too.

I like to keep space between my wraps as to cover a larger area of wick. The more wick that's being heated the more juice is heated and that increases the flavor and vape production.

Thomas, what is your target resistance? How low do you want to go? Oh, and is your wire Stainless Steel, Kanthal, Nickel?
From there you can figure out how many wraps of 26g you need.

Welcome and glad you joined. Yep, target resistance and work backwards using Steam Engine is an excellent thought.
