I just bought a Yeti and was wondering if you could pull the wicking material out of the catridge and drip the juice onto it that way. Seems like you could get a more even distribution of fluid.
My problem is that when I push the filler back in, liquid oozes everywhere. 8-o
I typically drip a few drops on top of the cartridge, waiting for each drop to be absorbed before I add another one. If liquid pools on top, you've added one drop too many.
To get better distribution without using a syringe, you can push the filler all the way down in the cartridge with tweezers, add some liquid on top, then pull/push/pull/push the filler (manipulating with the tweezers). That gets liquid all the way at the bottom of the filler. Then add a few drops on top to finish off.
I tried using a syringe but felt too much like a junkie.
