How to remove finish off k100

Is it possible to remove the finish off of a k100 I prefer a stainless finish.

Edit- the body is not made of stainless steel, Just to clarify I want it to the bare metal not color

Is it even made of stainless? Anyway, you just need to sand it down. Do a search to find out how to polish stainless steel.

Doubt it is stainless steel. Feels more like aluminium to me. In any event... just want with sandpaper to remove the color. Going up in grit till a shiny finish is produced...

Agh yes I believe you are correct about it being aluminum, I considered using a sand paper but with so many groves it may be tedious to get it perfect. Thanks for the input

Maybe a Dremmel with a wire-brush attach for the grooves and final finish?

get some heavy duty oven cleaner, anodizing doesn't like it and just melts off. lot easier than other things mentioned

Thanks for the input sounds interesting, any chance it will ruin anything besides the anodized finish we are trying to strip off?

I was just talking to a buddy about doing this to mine. I was thinking dremmel but figured it would look pretty rough. The stripper mentioned above sounds like a better idea.

It shouldn't as long as you don't do it with the battery in there, also make sure to clean it off afterwards. I did this to a friend's mod.
