how to repair a glass tank with a small gash in the glass?

i just noticed there is like a gash on the glass part of my tank i was just wondering if i could do to fix it instead of having to go out and buy another one (so it won't leak)? like tape or w/e

it is on the outside and is not leaking ATM

If it's on the outside of the tank and can't come into contact with your juice at all maybe a windshield repair kit??? Other than that I dunno except a replacement.

If you don't mind that it looks a little odd, you could simply wrap the tank in electrical tape so that the gash doesn't turn into a crack. This is only if the inside of the tank is not breached. Even with tape, the integrity of the tank may give so it would be best to spend a little for piece of mind. Most replacement pyrex for many tanks cost $15 or less.
