I recently brought a PS Prestege 1.1 PV device which I have to say is awesome. Since it came with 1 atty I decided to buy a 901 bat to 510 adapter to use with my BLU attys since I had four. After using it on the PV for a while I went back to the 901 atty. (too hot) Later when I was using the BLU e-cig with that same atty I noticed that it was blowing huge amounts of vapor that it did'nt do since I brought the kit over a week ago. I think the 3.7 volt and higher amperage of the PV actually improved the performance overall of the BLU atty. I still have to try it on the oher three. I'll write a newly updated post with my results later on. HAPPY vaping:)

NOTE: Please be warned that holding down the button on the PV for too long while using BLU atty might burn it out so be aware of how long you vape on it with you PV. I was not doing it for a long time; long enough to burn about 3 drops of juice about 3 sessions.

7 weeks analog free. I feel great!!!:D

What you may have done was kinda cleaning the BLU atty. On a auto battery atties will not warm up the same as in a manual battery.

I think it must be that over voltage factors. The 510 will not go near 3.7 volts anyway as ScottBee found out

Damn your right, I just put my blu atty with a pre-filled blu cartridge on the 510 manual batt and it was amazing the amount of vapor and flavor I got out of it!! Of course I put the blu-cig back together and I got more vapor but not near the flavor. Makes you wonder if the blu batts are not really putting out enough..

Nice to hear, I have a 510 on the way, using blu currently, and to be honest it has worked wonderfully (started to shine after day 3 and on) to the point where Im worried that the 510 might not live up to the hype I have read about so far. Curious on what you think about your PS Prestege over you're blucig.
The PS protege 1.1 can be a little intimidating when people see it at first. The Blu's are a bit more descreet an easily concealable in public places. I just came back from PR and can tell you that I was able to vap the Blu's in a casino as well as two resturants I went to. After being noticed (I wanted to see what would happend) an confronted I explained what the Blu cig was and how it was totally safe. Well not only was I allowed to keep vaping it but I found people coming over to me to get infomation on the product because they were interested in buying it for themselves or to pass the info on to someone they new. The Protege I found was good to use when I was at the beach cause the battery didn't have to be changed all day and i didn't have to worry about the breeze causing it to fire. I like both each has its uses an its places for vaping.

The blue bats (weakest link) in my opinion could be better.

I had the same experience with the Blu. I bought it, used it a week, and realized I needed something more. I've since given the blu to my coworker who wants to quit smoking. He is liking it so far, but compared to my titan battery he was getting very little vapor. On a whim, we hooked up his blu atty to my manual battery and the results were ok. But, when he put the atty back on his auto battery that comes with the blu, it worked twice as good as I've ever seen it. Not totally sold as to why it worked like that, but it did.

When it come to penstyles, you have to realize that Blu and other short batts are rated as low as 160ma. Most attys are drawing 1-1.2A @3.7v. (1A = 1000ma) So, its asking for 5-6X what the battery has. Unless the battery is designed to have a high discharge rate(5-10C) it cannot put out all that is needed. Bigger batteries dont have to work as hard if the ma rating is higher. 10C means it can be charged or discharge 10X its rated capacity, not for long though. It still only has a 160ma max capacity.

This is a reason many penstyle batteries dont last very long in use or life and why a 900ma mod battery is so much better.
Just an example of why some batteries, even new, are so diff with the same atty.

Don't worry, you'll enjoy it more than the blu (I don't see why you wouldn't). Don't worry about all the hype, as long as it performs better than your blu it was a good investment. I sure as hell know I love my 510 FAR better than my blu.

I just drip my Blu. It works fine. 3 drops on the bridge... let it soak for a minute... and I've got huge clouds. My friends flip out when they watch me vape. LOL!

I also removed the little plastic cup with the wool from the cartridge.... Works WONDERFULLY.

Also, I saw some thread about cleaning the atomizer.

Rinse Atomizer under HOT water for 20 seconds.
Blow out both ends of Atomizer until no more water comes out (you can tell for sure by blowing into a tissue/piece of toilet paper).
Put atomizer on battery WITHOUT CARTRIDGE and blow on it so it activates the battery. Do this for about 12 seconds. Do it again 3 more times.
Drip 5 drops of liquid on bridge. Let it soak. Take a hit. If it doesn't work or taste good, drip 2 more drops and let it soak. Still don't hit or taste good, one more drop and let it soak. Should work fine.

Again, that's just what I read. And it works for me. But as always, TRY EVERYTHING AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!
