Not all PV (Personal vaporizer) devices are created equally.
There are many variances in cart size, atty size, atty temperature, atty voltage & curent, etc, etc.
I have found that ALL types of Poly-Fil work very well IF PROPERLY STUFFED/PACKED into the cart. It won't work well if/when excessively compressed but it can't be too loose either. There is a bit of an art to stuffing carts correctly and that changes when you change the type or style of cart stuffing material. Varied material density means you must vary how much to stuff the cart with. The plain 16 Ounce bag of Poly-Fil works EXTREMELY WELL in my LARGE DSE601 epipe carts. The rolls of it made for baby cribs don't work nearly as well with my DSE601. The crib type poly-Fil must be carefully used. If you try to stuff too much into a cart, it will not wick very well at all. Cart stuffing can be a bit tricky, especially if you don't try stuffing at various compression levels. EACH STUFFING MATERIAL YOU TRY must be tested at various compression levels (or volume-per stuffing) in order to give each newly tested material a fair chance. Also, there are all different sizes of carts. There are attys that burn hotter than others. Not all the PV device components are created equally! What works great for one PV device may not be so geat for another.
I endeavor to find one material that works really well in ALL my PV devices, but I have my share of doubts on finding a universal material that gives high performance in ALL my PV devices. My present lineup of PV devices is as follows:
VX2 mini-cigs (several, using auto batts, manual batts + USB passthrough). These have some of the biggest carts to be found in a 'mini" (not pen style) ecig and they have a rather cool running atty which produces excellent vaping flavors.
QTY 3 >> RS-888 Mini Pipes (one converted for LG cell phone charger/ac adapter use, 5VDC @ 1 Amp.....THROAT HIT MONSTER!)
QTY 1 >> DSE601 epipe (soon to be 2, I LOVE my "DARTH VAPER")
