I see this much more a mixed bag. Bad thing about vaping, to do it right you have to spend money first. To do it better, you need to spend even more. So, you could give a person a vision of how good it can be, but there are disadvantages. If it's actually likely to become an issue, carry a vape condom or extra drip tip or even an extra clearo (you could clean it later). I'm usually happy enough to let a friend try mine, unfortunately if they even want to it's usually right after they had a cig and they can't taste anything.

Yeah, I hear you. The only person I've let try stuff is my long time friend of 36 years. Strangers, no way. My mentally disabled cousin is mad I won't let her try, but...she drools. I tell her its too strong and she'll choke. She doesn't buy it, but its also true. An Aromamizer at 60W is not a good introduction to vaping.

Tell 'em to go find the nearest local vape shop if they want samples. There's no way I'm letting someone else suck on my gear unless I know them REALLY well. (And I'm talking in the Biblical sense!)

There are good suggestions here, but you don't have to make something up. You don't have to spend your time or money to share or help them get gear, even.

Use a GUNKY Driptip, and tell them that it is a collection of "Dried Saliva from your Lips" disgusting I know. haha

Find the nearest vape shop and ask them for some business cards next time someone asks give them story about something unpleasant and hand them one of the cards.
You're talking about a chance to change someone's life, but I can see you might be squeamish. But to even JOKE about playing a trick on them that would turn them away from vaping forever? REALLY?!?!!1! Please just say "no" first.
Vape gear is a very personal thing to that person, no way anyone would touch mine. Get ya own, or go home. Of course, educated them on vaping by all means, especially if some of them are smokers wanting to quit.
ask them for their email addys and send them a list of your favorite online vendors. Maybe links to good beginner kits.
Yeah, I've ran into that too. As someone else mentioned, note that you do not like sharing drip tips. And do point them to some BNM they can go to or some online sites where they can pick up their own device(s) for reasonable prices. Sometimes it is ok not to share.
