Say hey to everyone for me NSG. Not much free time myself lately. So much for my day off, it has come and gone and I just don't feel like I have much to show for it. I am gonna call it a night and go watch tv with hubby.

Hubby is in all his glory, I finally broke down and bought him the complete Gunsmoke series. All 20 years worth, its like 600 and something episodes. I suppose I should be grateful, at least I like watching that. I can't watch endless hours of star trek, three stooges and such so yeup, it could be worse! My middle kid loves Mr. Ed so he got the complete series of that. I like me some Mr. Ed but not in marathon version. LOL!

I think that's it Peoia. We have a tendency to drift in this sea of fun. Plus a lot of folks are just trying to make ends meet, resulting in less disposable time. Its good to see a lot of old friends pop in though. Wish I had been here for that.

Don't work too hard Amy. I like Gunsmoke too, but I don't think I would get anything done if I had that collection. I bought the first season of 24 and watched it in a weekend. It was great, but I realized what a time sink it was, and wont buy any more of it.

Mort Z, the owner of The Daily News, U.S. News, commentator on The Maglaughlin Report and all-round billionaire, showed up bleary-eyed at a meeting with my ex-boss. He was given the first season of 24 as a gift and stayed up all night watching them. After that, he'd ask periodically if the new season was over yet — he didn't want to do it as appointment TV. He preferred to get the DVDs and do a marathon each year.

Poeia, maybe we've gotten so use to our chucks, it's like a marriage, its just gotten comfortable and the new and exciting has left the building. I vape now like smoking, its just everyday habit and I have kind of gotten over getting jazzed up about stuff. Same chuck, same liquid, same carto and nothing new is getting me as revved up like it use to and I don't want to waste money on new stuff when my current habit is working and comfortable. I will say that I've gotten bored with vaping. I am grateful for it, have no intention of ever smoking again though I will admit, I still crave something more from time to time, though I think what I am craving is sunshine, warm weather and green. I detest winter!

I don't get too caught up with tv but get like that when reading. If the book is a series, then I have to read the whole series and do nothing till I have completed it. Same with just a single book, I have to read the whole thing start to finish. I therefore try to only read on occassion, making it a treat. Wish I could dive into text books like that, I prefer mindless reads which is not as beneficial.

Good to see everyone.

I totally agree with doing it that way. DVDs are good because there is no break in the action. You can pause and pee as the need be.:lol:

I am waiting for Breaking Bad season 3 right now. Waiting.... waiting....

Been thinking about buying all of Friends. I never really watched much of it. Might be able to get into it, maybe not.
