I'm not sure if this is the right section, but I know that I've had to explain this about a million times. Maybe this video can help with your mom or aunt over seas that doesn't have a B&M locally.

I started with a starter kit a month ago. My thoughts, which might not be worth much:
Get something that matches. 2.4 ohm coils with a plain 3.7v battery will suck for the newbie.
Give them backups. Multiple batteries and coils.
An instructional sheet. If nothing else give them youtube links on how to use what you gave them on a sheet of paper.
Help them find the flavor/strength they need. Ok, good luck with this, but it's an idea?
Teach them to puff and not just lung hit an e-cig as apposed to a cancer stick.
