Complexity is one of the best things about flavors which is generally lacking when you use concentrates. I personally like to put a couple drops of caramel in anything, maybe a couple drops of chocolate too, or vanilla. I also add a couple of drops of Ethyl Maltol solution to most everything. There was a post about someone who put a Caramel Apple mix on an atty that had licorice before and it brought out the flavor. You never know what might help excite your taste buds.

Yep, what PureVapor said.

Put a small amount in another bottle and try small amounts of the "extras", then test to see what comes of it. Vanilla and Ethyl Maltol are the typical "go-to" for adding more body and taking out bitter, but sometimes the oddest thing does the trick. Toffee is another one I have found that can bring coffee flavors some complexity.

(I'm the guy who had his Carmel Apple experiment suddenly "pop" after putting it on a licorice flavored atty.)
